Passions of the heart 
The mind that sees 
From afar 
The turmoil  
Of the world 
Please show me 
Your grace 
Help me understand
 The human race. 
The struggles 
That take place. 
Guide my hand 
How do I stand? 
The vibration 
Of the world’s demands. 
Do I need a plan? 
Listen to whose command? 
The rooster protects 
The flock 
As the hawk 
Takes stock 
The birds Know the way 
How should I pray? 
What do I say? 
I will leave this body
 One day. 
This old friend 
Do I listen  
To what they say? 
In their struggle 
As we both pray. 
Becoming grateful 
For this moment 
The drama 
And my enthrallment 
The passion of my heart 
To see away 
From what’s dark 
The journey of the crane 
The propagation 
Of a soul untamed 
Just innocent and free 
Not subjugated 
By a world  
That surrounds me 
A body without 
An opinion 
Is this an attempt 
To grasp 
My dominion of self 
Or the decision 
To see 
through the foils  
And discover 
A soul unspoiled

Enthrallment

My thinking
My will
Distracted by the world
And the need to fulfill.
Stirring up sin
Creating pain
Toying up God’s name
In vain
Moving through an atmosphere
Of the insane.
Remove the veil
To see what’s real.
Remove the blanket
Don’t be forsaken.
The cloud will lift
The atmosphere will shift.
The voice that persists
Will be heard
From the appearance 
Of a soul
Bring new life
To what felt old.
This appearance of grace
Will appear on your face.
Shining joy and light
Into the night.
The voice will steer
You clear
Of all the misguided fear
That seems to 
Come from everywhere.
Giving you direction
Joined with a new detection
Of the comforter’s name.
Named by you
Heard from who.
The one that speaks to you
Listen to the wisdom
Feel the grace
Move without time
In this holy space.
The space you find
Is the position dear
It’s the hallowed temple
Connecting you everywhere.
Past the senses that pull
The relationships that draw
The desires that dream
A consolation of the extreme.

Shifting Atmosphere

A selfless act 
Of kindness
Becomes my escape
From illusion
Not what you think
The conclusion
The intrinsic jump
Is not just a leap of faith
It’s the ego 
We attempt to escape.
A mind on what
Could it be 
Our religion that becomes
The divine incision?
This division
Of our faith
And our soul
Creating a narrative
That unfolds.
Unfolds past the truth
By the projection of
Something running aloft
I thirst for soul.
The disparaging of
A shadow’s beseeching 
The subjugation
That is reaching.
The word should be
The truth we are teaching
To speak of spiritual principles
And not acknowledging
Truth is hyperbolic blockages
Of a vision to see
The extension of me
My ability to be free
Drop the rock 
and fly with the flock.
Swim through the ocean of truth
What I choose
The voice being construed.

Thirst

Heaven is  
A choice 
For a life 
That’s real. 
Salvation 
Linked to death 
The truth is 
Hidden 
Within 
My breath. 
I stand 
On the purpose 
Of my soul. 
My heart knows 
The truth 
Of my will. 
My mind 
Relinquishes 
The grip 
As my thinking 
Slips away 
And the voice  
Begins to say 
Stand on your purpose 
Live through each day 
Rest 
Listen 
And pray. 
Pray for 
The meditative 
Rhythm 
As we work 
And play 
The shadowing 
Emblematic 
Reasoning 
Cannot stay 
The reach  
To control AI 
And geopolitics 
Cannot stop 
The motion 
Of your stance. 
This heart 
And the faith 
Transcending 
The dance. 
This romance 
Of time 
Speaking to 
What’s sublime 
The freeing  
Of something 
Captured 
By the mind. 
Seen on a wall 
Heard through 
The words. 
Comforting 
Like a bird 
Moving through 
A vision 
Holiness leaping out 
Of every decision 
Hear my word 
A plea 
To see past 
A shadow’s greed 
The numbers  
So vast 
Waiting as time 
Stands fast. 
Looking to you 
For your acceptance 
A spiritual food 
The breaking of bread 
More than 
Just being fed. 
Everything is sacred 
To the test of time 
Consecration  
Of my mind. 

I Stand on My Purpose

Once again
Once upon a time
Meets
The Golden Rule
Here we go again
It is time to pretend
A working-class hero.
Is that what is to be
Until you’re so flippin’ crazy
It’s going to be 
Hard to see.
Let it be
And try to find me.
Me is the We
A communication of thee.
Clueless
As we feel nothing
Going through us
 It seems to be 
screwing us
as we ask to excuse us.
Stop the line
Stop the lie
Be still
And go inside.
Bring the intrusion
To its conclusion.
Your why
Becomes your purpose.
Yes, that is correct
But it was also your mind
That disturbs us.
The alignment
Of your thoughts
The path that doesn’t cross.
Don’t be fooled
By the Golden Rule.
While its truth
That’s not being pursued.
The pursuit
Of happiness
Lies in your mind
Connected through
Your heart
That listens to your soul
To become 
The joining 
Of our wills.
The flagellation 
Of love
That never fulfills
Not the truth 
That is still
It only needs
To reach your will.
This extension
 Of your faith
The mitigation
Of this sanctimonious place.
Overly pious
The freedom to be one
With oneself
This negation
Of our mind
Is not the opposition
That it finds
But a truth
That doesn’t
Keep us blind.
Ground the body
Connect the mind
Sit still in a posture
And it is your soul
You will find.
Do unto yourself
And listen to your soul.
Now the connection
Of life will unfold.

My Golden Rule

Perhaps you think
Perhaps you open your mind
Perhaps you open your wings and fly
Perhaps you jump in and float.
Perhaps I will.
Perhaps you will.
Perhaps we will
Direct our will.
Perhaps we will let love
Fill our hearts
Connecting the thread
Of passion that’s still.
Still leaping through our faith.
Jumping past space.
Guiding my hands
With God’s given grace.
We are not alone.
A Voice that’s being sown.
Through our hearts 
That are prone
To love’s constant consciousness
Perhaps love’s consciousness
Love’s vision
Love’s guidance
Is a bond 
A covenant 
Of vision’s culminant
Of love’s judgement.
Perhaps I will live
With no fear
Perhaps I will see
Love everywhere
The abyss of perhaps.

Beyond me
Is the what
I want to see.
Past the accorded value
That the mind
Will not be ignored.
To be restored
Direct my awareness
Toward
A world 
That’s unabsorbed.
Love and perception
Go hand in hand.
Seeing past
The blindness
Of fear’s demands.
You fear
And cannot see
Obscuring in darkness
Looking at me.
The truth eclipsed
By fear
Soothe
Not becoming clear
The tale
Of two worlds
The choice is mine
To seek and find
Or
To seek and NOT find
This is all
I decide
What I wish to hold
In my mind.
To drop and roll
To experience
What unfolds.
OR
Just be still
And listen.
The two worlds
Become
The grand decision.
Freeing the mind
Into love’s divine.
Flowing through
Gratitude
Like a vine.
The unreal or the real
True or false.
Heaven or hell
It’s a choice
Just decide
To let go
Of that spell
Placed upon your eyes
By a decision
Of a storyline
Reaching to tell
Seek and find
While healing
The mind.
That shifted 
Its foundation
Away from time.
The task at hand
Is your decision
Of where to stand.
With vision at hand.
Faith and desire
Go hand in hand
For everyone believes
In what they want
Understand?

Tale of Two Worlds

Escape the laws
Run for fun
Proceed to find love in someone
Then spread it
To everyone.
I bless you.
I bless me
I bless holiness
As far as the eyes
Can see.
Then,
Past all the allegiances
Connected to me.
It’s inside me.
It’s in we.
The vastness
Love’s tranquility
Find it here
Find it now
A feeling that’s 
Not so loud.
A state of being allowed.
A state to confound
Existence
Of what is
A hallowed sound.
Love is the heart
Of God
And of us.
Love cannot judge.
As it is one
In itself.
I had a dream
Of something more.
Then it seems
I could release
The grip
The shadowland.
Watch it slip.
Into all hearts
As the light heals
What has fallen sick
By the night
Attempting 
To ad lib.
I had the power
To heal hate.
The teaching 
That forsakes
The ability to free love
And cast it out
Into every altar
That’s been damned
To falter.
The ringing of a bell
Bring love down
Into hell.
Up past the sky
Seeing it 
In every child’s eye.
Hearing it speak
From every mind.
Inside the constitution
Of this graceful solution
This is my absolution
Why would this
Not be so?
The ability to allow
Love to flow.
Was the dream real 
And is it this
That needs to be healed?

The Great Escape

The intrinsic jump 
The need to repair 
My ability to see 
It everywhere. 
The battle ground is set. 
Is the mind healed yet? 
It doesn’t come 
From some threat. 
The mind looking 
To place its bet. 
The potential seen 
By the odds of regret. 
The Golden Rule 
Looking 
Searching 
For its fool. 
The temptation 
Is always great. 
This triangle 
Of hate. 
The dance  
Of transcendence 
The communication of fate. 
Then comes 
The understanding 
Risen out of  
What’s demanding 
That is never too late. 
Heal your perception 
By knowing  
Love’s rejection. 
This is the  
Tale of two forces 
Where love  
Double crosses. 
Codependency dancing 
With the Golden Rule’s 
Tendencies. 
To fix 
the perception 
That tricks. 
When you spot it 
You got it. 
How do you  
Hide it? 
It’s a game 
Of tag 
While I watch myself brag 
While I’m looking 
At a reflection 
Of something haunting 
That nags. 
The attempt to control 
The suggestion to be. 
Where is my ability 
To see me? 
Guide me? 
Sit beside me? 
Speak to me? 
Can I be a tree? 
While I’m hugging 
An illusion? 
While it bleeds? 
Infecting me 
with a thinking 
Not so free. 
Do unto others 
As I want them 
To do unto me 
I begin to suffocate. 
The tightness in my chest 
The restricting of my breath. 
Bring the mind 
And the Will follows. 
Lead by example 
Not by a nagging ramble. 
Speak your truth 
And find your spine. 
So you can  
heal that mind. 
It’s not the message 
From the blind. 
Give it away 
To keep it 
Having it 
By the way  
You seek it. 
Bring the mind 
And the world 
Will follow.

The Battleground

To whom and I enslaved? 
What obligation 
Do I pay? 
The destruction 
this wrought 
through thinking 
I just bought. 
The reinforcement 
of a struggle. 
What is really 
being muddled? 
How do I choose 
between strength 
Or to lose? 
Give it away 
To keep it. 
To digest 
What has been 
Seeping in. 
Consecration 
Of the battle 
Becoming a place 
To which it 
Wallowed. 
To walk in 
The valley of death 
The only thing 
I take is 
My breath 
And the memory  
Of what to  
Expect. 
To see all the people 
I have left. 
Fulfilling my heart. 
Embracing my soul 
To every conversation 
I imagine and behold. 
Filling my consciousness 
With joy 
From a world 
In which it was sowed. 
Turning fire 
And brimstone 
To milk and honey 
As the world waits. 
Abundance of joy. 
Smiles of faith. 
This is the world 
We create. 
Give it away 
To keep it. 
Is how. 
Living in a world  
We are to beseech it. 
Understanding. 
The way we teach it. 
The path we live 
Is where we reach it. 
The cycle  
Of our thinking 
Experiencing 
The ability to rise 
As we are sinking. 
The fruition 
Of my being. 
I am here.
