BISHOP

When Bishop was 10 years old he commandeered his parent's record player, to practice mixing and scratching their disco and classic rock records. At 13, he was already programming beats and by 16 he was playing huge rave parties in Chicago to audiences of over 6,000. By 20 he owned a full-on recording and production studio, so it comes as no surprise that Bishop has already travelled the world behind the decks and screens, playing shows from the U.S. to the UK to Tokyo. A pioneer of the electronic arts and a true TECHNO REBEL for the last 18 years! His high energy all analog, non-mp3, white label, dub plate, chest pounding, one of a kind DJ sets are not be be forgotten. Since 1994 he has taken part in over 3,000 shows! 

Founder of Simplistiks, Bishop produces and DJs a variety of styles, from Down Tempo to Ragga Break Core, Drum n Bass to Trip Hop. A sleepless producer Bishop aka Grackle has over 7 full-length albums under his belt waiting to drop.  Known for DJ and VJ performances at Rave classics as Drop Bass Network's EVEN FUTHUR and NEW YEARS, Direct Drive's D-DAY, and New York's KONKRETE JUNGLE. Bishop has worked with world renowned companies including Hip Step Nation, Solid Vinyl, Arts Council of England, Remix Magazine, Moonshine Movies, Korg, Pioneer, and Roland two name a few.
