House Disco Energy 021 With Special Guest: Michael Gray

Charlie Price is an 20 Year Old super passionate, House & Disco DJ!!
Based in the Big Capital of London, UK, Charlie has since 2019 been building a beautiful community around him.

It all started back in late 2019, where he wanted to find a passion and since music has always been his first love, he started DJing using a website called You.DJ.

2020 came around and the whole world eventually was locked down, meaning streaming became huge!!
He was inspired by ‘The Shapeshifters’s Sunday Service’ & ‘Sam Divine’s Divine Tribe’ that he thought he would set up a Twitch Stream weekly and for approximately a year, this became a Saturday stream called ‘Saturday Revolution’ and it went down so well.

He had also originally organised a charity event in aid of the charity ‘Mind’ in which he had asked a load of other twitch DJs to do an hour to 2 hours of streaming and at the end of the night he and the group of DJs had raised over £700 for Mind!

2021 was another big year for Charlie where as he was still streaming he was being raided by other Well-Known DJs like: Defected Records, Aline Rocha, DJ Meme, Sam Divine and Jellybean Benitez.
This meant so much to Charlie as this was starting to work out for him.

His networking got bigger and bigger when he finally turned 18 and got into Clubs. He’s met and spent time with the likes of: Jellybean Benitez, Mike Dunn, The Shapeshifters, Melvo Baptiste, Bobby Shaw and many more amazing artists.

Whilst being a student at Access Creative College, he has won the Local and National DJ award for his passionate mixes with one specifically chosen by Point Blank Music and that mix is a ‘Salsoul Tribute’ and is in his mixes on this page.

He also played his first couple of gigs in 2022 where he warmed up for ‘My Love’s, Route 94’ & ‘Florentia’.

Fast forward to 2024 and Charlie is now 20 and has launched his new Radio Show Format, ‘House Disco Energy’ and he is hoping to see this grow into a fully formed format with guests, events and many more opportunities.

He also has a few gigs under his belt supporting artists such as: Jess Bays, Mas Que Nada, MTCO, Route 94, Playing at the Defected Family afterparty, Florentia, George Mensah and with hopefully more experience soon!

Charlie also has a few releases out now and edits via Traxsource & Bandcamp where you can see Charlie's Producing skills through House & Disco.

He is also at University studying a 3 Year Music Production & Sound Engineering Course
