Monoke delivers the first mix of the series. Her blistering trajectory is testament to a deep-rooted understanding of what makes people tick in the club, and her contribution to Don't Throw Stones is a genuinely phenomenal hour of progressive house heaters.

I’m genuinely humbled to have Berlin-based producer Firmin deliver mix number two of the Don’t Throw Stones series. A masterclass in heavyweight rollers and majestic house euphoria, the mix also includes a couple of unreleased tasters from the Jersey-born producer’s own, unreleased catalogue. 

I’m an enormous admirer of Liam, both as a producer and a DJ. Under his alternate alias, Jägerverb, he has released a selection of intelligently composed progressive house weapons with Safer at Night, also appearing on their Boiler Room takeover.

With long-standing ties to record label Tesselate, he has since teased a smattering of Firmin releases, including 2019’s Drenched & Coppered.

Youn-mat brings the heat for the fourth outing of don’t throw stones. the South Korean born, London based selector expertly threads rapturous vocals and euphoric instrumental goodies throughout this sparkling hour of internationally influenced house.

a wonderfully immersive dreamscape of a mix from liang makes for the fifth addition of the don’t throw stones mix series. liang has spent years honing his craft; with an international presence, he has showcased his vast record collection on the airwaves of chicago (WNUR 89.3 Streetbeat), utrecht (stranded FM) and 1020 radio (bristol). 

of the mix, liang said: “i had plants on my mind and was imaging what a day would be like in their roots. by happenstance, I stumbled upon the seminal album plantasia while digging in vienna which tied everything together. relax and enjoy the dripping dew, coming storm, and reaching towards the sun and enjoy a day as a plant.”

Mix #7 in the Don't Throw Stones series comes from Plantera, without doubt one of my favourite dj duos. Their ongoing Noods Radio residency is a deep, ethereal exploration of trancey bliss and thumpy tribal rhythms, while their take on the DTS series traverses an entirely new realm altogether. 

A celestial adventure through trip-hop, dub and funk, it's an absolute joy to get your ears around. So get involved, and stick it on your biggest speakers. It's a cracker from two of Cymru's finest.

Bristol-based DJ and Noods Radio regular Charlie Glas spends an hour digging through his vinyl collection, playing a range of dream pop, ambient, surf rock, house and electronica.

with propulsive shellers from minute one, this is a fine addition to the don't throw stones series. spanning thumping prog to semi-dissociative techno, here is an hour and forty minutes of pure energy from a dj with genuine talent and impeccable taste. i’m properly pleased to get ben involved with this mix - the hometown hero we all deserve.
