This aural depth charge has hit dance floors hard this month, bringing this collaboration project featuring the mighty production of Noisia and the lyrical flow of Foreign Beggars to the forefront of discussion in every territory to those in the know. 'Make Those Move' has also received plays at 1XTRA and Radio 1. It’s a call to arms: the siren piercing the sleepy dawn, signalling I Am Legion's imminent and deadly impact, explained here by MC Metropolis:
 
“When we say 'Make Those Move', we're talking about the audience at the show, we're talking about making necks snap when you're listening in headphones, making the bass cones move, or the sub stack shift a couple inches to the left coz the bass is blowing shit up. It’s a party track; something that we feel you can mosh to. That was the vibe we were trying to create. It has this cool rebellious Punk attitude to it which is totally in key with where we wanted to go with the project as a whole.”

'Make Those Move’ is one of the few, full energy, out-and-out bangers on their debut album that will be released in September this year. It will be released on Noisia's Division Recordings, Foreign Beggars’ new label Par Excellence, and OWSLA in the United States. Download it today.

I wanted this to be the first track from Drive I shared with you all not because it's the biggest or the best, but because it's probably my personal favourite.

The album was basically inspired by a road trip I took with my wife from New York to Los Angeles last year, taking in Route 66 and numerous ghost towns, deserts, mountain passes, dirt roads etc, and I came up with the melody for this one towards the end, somewhere in the Mojave Wilderness as we finally made it into California, the setting sun of the West in the distance. A long way from home, and still fairly far from our final destination, but the end was in sight. And that's the moment the track basically came to describe. It isn't really a club banger, or a club track. It's just something I felt like writing.

Anyway - enough deep shit. Still feels slightly surreal to be sharing this body of work after waiting so long. More soon.

That said, we think the remix turned out great, we actually see a little bits of our previous work in it, little nods to Around us and Julian. In the end we hope we did the track justice infusing it with a tasteful amount of uptempo progressive house while still remaining true to our style."

Its why we think her vocals always do so well with dance music. Holding onto Heaven was definitely a fun challenge for us to remix. The original is very far from a dance track and we wanted to think out of the box and do something unusual with the vocal. Additionally there were so many cinematic parts to the song to use particularly the string. In our remix you will here some vocal transposing that we think adds this very strange but unique edge that cuts through.
