 South American metal band, formed in Bogotá (Colombia) in 2005 by David Martinez (keyboards), Jose D. Barajas (guitar), Ana Barajas (voice), Jorge Gutierrez (Guitar), Rodolfo Caliz (Bass) and Jose F. Osorio (Drums) -- all are the original members of the band.
The music of Nova Orbis (which means "New World" in Latin) is a mix of different styles, involving the strength of metal sounds, the magic of the gothic, and the dynamism of progressive music.

Entropia was founded on October 2005 by Leonel Rojas (Drums), Juan Carlos Sanchez (Bass Gtr) and Nicolas Aparicio (Guitars); we knew each other studying Music in Universidad Javeriana in Bogota - Colombia but the project started when Nicolas and Leonel changed to Universidad El Bosque wich will be the 2nd home to Entropia, being followed by Juan Carlos and Juan Manuel in 2008.

The three of us made all the music and arreangements then in came in Jorge Arango (keyboards) in 2006 and lately that year Juan Manuel Güiza (Vocals). In June 2006 Entropia enters the STUDIO at STUDI-ON (Bogota) to record the First Demo Entitled "...of human introspection" under the supervision of Sebastian Romero to start moving around and get some fan base.

Between 2006 y 2007 Entropia played in different Bars, Schools, festivals But it was until 2008 that the bands name start being recognized because of the 1st visit of IRON MAIDEN to Colombia, the band enter to the contest to be the Opening Act for them compiting with other 7 bands, being Entropia the youngest Band on the contest ENDED being one of the favorites leaving us on 2nd place by Half a point from the winner.

Even we didnt win the contest we had the opprtunity to record a song in a Tribute Album for IRON MAIDEN named "THE GOLDEN BEAST". After this event Entropia's "Fame" grew a lot more and in the same year (2008) we were chosen to play at the biggest and more important Free - Festival in Latin America, FESTIVAL ROCK AL PARQUE, in that presentation we presented the music you can hear on our LP "SIMETRIA" that was launched at 2010.

We began Simetria's recording sessions at AUDIO FACTORY under the supervision of Diego Moreno (Sound Engineer/Mix) and David Cely (Mix) in December 2007 but the album had a lot of problems we had to let go Jorge Arango for personal matters so that made a delay on the release and we had to record again all the Keyboards. 

After Arango left the band we search for the perfect Keyboard player that fits the most to the band style and we found it in Gabriel Chaparro, our actual keyboard player. 
Gabriel entered the band and immediately started the recording that appears on the Album.

After all the struggle to have the release of the Album we had to deal with another breakout from another member of the band, Juan Manuel (Vocals) was making his way out the band so he can be 100% on his Solo career and his departure caught us by surprise. 

The band is still searching for the right Vocalist but fortunately we've made a good reputation and a lot of people wants to work with us and the help is out there.
After we made SIMETRIA's release via Media fire by giving it away for free we have been reached by a lot of magazines and people that has made us Reviews of the album. 

Countries like ITALY, GERMANY, AUSTRALIA, U.S, FINLAND, BRAZIL, ARGENTINA and many more listened the album and they have been giving us their support 100%.

In 2012 Entropia released  a 4 track and 2 videos EP named "EVOLVE" followed by a National Tour in Bars and Festivals.

In 2014 they released "TRANSFORM" a 6 track Ep, that follows the same line that Evolve. With this Ep they got a lot of interest from all around the globe specially in Europe.

in 2015 they celebrate their 10 Years in the Metal Scene in Colombia at Rock al Parque; the biggest Free Festival in Latin America. Sharing all their music with their fans. Also the closing of another chapter in the band. Nicolas Aparicio, guitar player and Founding member retires from the band to find a new life in Australia.

In 2016 Entropia welcome Will Castro as their new Guitar player and began a Tour called TRANSFORM BOGOTA.

Entropia has began to put some new ideas and songs together to be released in 2017 with a new album.

Having an album produced by the legendary Waldemar Sorychta was nothing but a distant dream back in 2002, when Charm Designer was born. This band, usually associated with the doom/gothic metal niches by followers and reviewers, was created in Bogotá (Colombia’s capital city) by a group of architects with the idea of making music starting from an alternative language and not purely based on the musical language itself. The duality between the method and the purpose is what could probably define in a better way the character behind their creations. The visualization of each of their songs as a design piece generates the processes, questionings and transformations needed to shape them with a sense and feeling of their own.
Nowadays, already consolidated in the local context and with two self-released productions to its credit (their Manifested demo in 2006 and their first professional release Blood Sounds, out in 2008), the band has Andrés Herrera on lead vocals and guitars, Diego M. Giorgi on bass and Diego Morales on drums. Also, they currently have the additional collaboration of Diego Hernández on live guitars.
Their new album Everlasting was produced and engineered by the highly acclaimed German producer Waldemar Sorychta (Lacuna Coil, Samael, Sentenced, Moonspell, Tiamat, among many others), being the first time ever for him to produce a band from outside of Europe. Also, the artwork and layout for this release was designed by renowned Romanian artist Costin Chioreanu, who, on top of that, was also in charge of the concept and animation of the lyric video for the first single of the album.

Charm Designer has taken part in important events both locally and nationally, becoming a well-known act inside the Colombian scene and one of the main exponents of a style explored by few in this country. Besides their hometown, they have toured other Colombian cities such as Bucaramanga and Cali (the latter to headline the “Cali Gothic” festival in 2009, which is the biggest national festival in support of this genre). They have also opened for the Finnish band The 69 Eyes’ show in Bogotá in 2010 and visited Caracas (Venezuela) as international headlining guests for the “Dragones del Metal Fest” that took part in July, 2011. 
Indie and web-radio stations have featured Charm Designer’s music, and in 2008 their song Autumn of Senses (from Blood Sounds) remained for 20 weeks on the rotation-by-demand top 10 in Radiónica FM national radio station.
After depleting the promotion stage for its first release and finishing the songwriting process for a sophomore record, the band spent every subsequent time and their efforts trying to accomplish a solid pre-production which would enable it to successfully reach a world-class producer and take a necessary step beyond its national context. As a result of this dedicated endeavor, one that is very unique for a metal band in Colombia, Charm Designer is now focused on the promotion of Everlasting, their new album released on Feb. 19, 2016 by Finnish label Inverse Records, which brings denser sounds, equally committed to intuition and emotionality, crafted under unconventional languages.
Everlasting has been highly valued by critics around the world in numerous reviews and has had great coverage in websites/zines and web stations internationally. In addition, the lyric video for the title track and first single of the album was featured in various media.
In Colombia, the release of this new production has allowed the band to intensely re-emerge on the national scene, participating in important events. They recently opened for the Norwegian band Arcturus’ show in Bogotá and on April they will be back to Cali, Colombia after a few years to headline the Cali Gothic festival on its 2016 version. After that, Charm Designer will act as special guest when the Finnish band Amorphis visits the Colombian capital on May, 2016.
