DJ Sonicboom is a powerhouse on the airwaves, broadcasting weekly on TeamSoca.com, where he produces and hosts his very own show. A passionate ambassador for Soca music, Sonicboom has spent years championing the genre, bringing high-energy vibes and infectious rhythms to global audiences.

His journey has led him to perform at some of the most iconic events in the Soca scene, including Soca or Die, Soca Brainwash, Soca Baby, Soca Rehab, Hookie, and more. Sonicboom’s talent and dedication have earned him spots on stages across the globe—from the streets of London to the beaches of St. Maarten and the Bahamas, and from the heart of Trinidad to cities across North America including Montreal, Toronto, New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, North Carolina, Boston, Philadelphia, and Texas. His more recent travels have taken him to Jamaica, Mexico, Bermuda, and Antigua.

It is his pure love for one thing - SOCA MUSIC. Soca music is the core aspect of DJ EPIK’s life and career, making soca music his heart and soul. DJ EPIK bleeds and wholeheartedly shares his culture within his community and amongst the vast population of music lovers in LA. 

The depth of his love for music stems from his father who is Trinidadian. Alongside his mother who is American, they have been the support system that has assisted in DJ Epik mastering his craft. 

DJ Epik has not strayed from soca or music due to the fact that his father was also a DJ. It is without a doubt that music surely runs through both their veins. Both their love for soca music and each other has shined through ever since DJ Epik started to DJ at the age of 8. 

Over the years, the love for music and soca has developed into something more. It has developed into a love for community and togetherness. In 2020 DJ Epik joined Bad Company Music Group where he works alongside others who share the passion of one thing: music. 

The main focus for DJ EPIK is to proudly showcase Soca by coordinating events in the LA Community & worldwide. DJ Epik pridefully showcases his love for music, culture, & togetherness by curating JAMISH events in collaboration with both of his partners. Jamish is but a small portion of how DJ Epik plans to showcase soca and Caribbean culture to these near and abroad. DJ EPIK’s main goal is to expand Jamish from city to city and make soca well known globally! 

His continued growth, success , and love for music also stems from those he looks up to as well. DJ Epik looks up to all of the top soca DJs such as Freeze International, Private Ryan, & DJ Sonic Boom.
