MNMT 303 : Crossing Avenue

Gothenburg is not only home to the most skilled and adventurous known seafarers, but also to our next “Circulating Waves” adept Anomali, who has been part of the local underground scene there for over 20 years. He was throwing parties, djed and produced in many different contexts and styles, until he discovered Deep and Hypnotic Techno, that led him to his signature sound, in which he is combining ever loved textures from Ambient, Techno and Psychedelic Trance. Finding his musical home made him focus on bringing his distinct vision to the dancefloor and beyond, creating exceptional moments of hypnotic bliss.

Dauntless as the well known Swedish sailors, Anomali is navigating us through the ever turning waters, spicing his rhythmic and energetic mix with just the right amount of psychedelic textures, dark atmospheres and emotional contemplation.

At the beginning of October, three members of Harmony Rec. travelled across Colombia for a few weeks. During their journey, Shoal, Yan and Aflred were invited to experience and play at one of the @matteriacollective parties that was held in the middle of Colombian jungle.

Here's a two-hours-long extract of the closing set played by @fred-czital & @yanmmxiv, defining all kinds of morning vibes we like.

Every entity is born somewhere into the vastness of existence, developing into a vibrating, interchanging particle just to finally perish… nothing is forever and still nothing is ever lost, just transformed into a new appearance. The connection between all things is utterly vital and the endlessly flowing streams all have the same root. 

The Mayans understood this as Imox and we invited Luna as its musical preacher.

Born in Argentina, growing up by the wind and the sea of the marvelous island of La Gomera and now hailing from the catalan capital of Barcelona, she experimented with different genres until she found her sound marked by high mental, organic and enveloping content.

The divine concept of Imox is strongly perceptible in her provided mix, as she perfectly blends tracks defined by hypnotic grooves, tribal elements and cosmic textures into a progressive, evolving journey with breathtaking intensity.

Nils Edte is an artist based in Stuttgart. Driven by his passion for music, he has evolved in the hypnotic ambient techno scene. His deep, organic and atmospherical sound identity was inspired by the classic genres and nature ambience and textures. As a huge supporter of the local culture scene, he also engages in different kinds of artistic creations and especially the connections between the different Arts.
Together with Laima Adelaide and Tama he is part of the Stuttgart based label Predawn Records.

Trip#15: Nils Edte

Cobahn is a Korean-born DJ now based in Amsterdam. She began her musical journey as part of Seoul's deep spiritual techno scene, regularly performing at Vurt and various parties in the city. Since moving to Amsterdam, Cobahn has continued to explore and expand her musical horizons, drawing inspiration from both Eastern philosophy and the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. 

As a rising talent in the techno scene, Cobahn's hypnotic sets have already caught the attention of the scene. With her deeply spiritual approach to music, she is set to become a significant force in the deep techno community.
