For some, Father's Day is a day of happiness and gratitude.  For others, it is a reminder of what they never had but wished they did.  So many people are reminded that the father they needed was or is not present.  I am one of those people.  And while it is still a sore subject for me, I have to say that I have grown because of his absence.  On Father's Day I'm grateful for that growth and I hope that I can continue to grow into a man worthy of being a father to my future children if that is in fact what the future holds.  This song is for those who can relate.

Happy Father's Day [Garage Quality]

Originally by Bring Me The Horizon. This song has been extremely meaningful to me ever since it was released. To some it seems like a cry for help from this feeling of helplessness that Oli is feeling but the way I see it is as a song of hope. Hope that one day we don't have to feel like that, and with some of the struggles I've been through these past few months and from all the things I've seen others go through hope is something we could all use.
