《空之境界》（日語：空の境界，音：Kara no Kyōkai）是著名作家、腳本家奈須蘑菇在1998年到1999年寫作連載的輕小說，插畫由好友武內崇負責。那時的奈須與武內崇組成同人團體『竹帚』，後來隨著TYPE-MOON的成立，著名作品《月姬》以及《Fate/stay night》引起巨大迴響。以這些為契機，《空之境界》推出了劇場版系列。由於原作的出色以及ufotable的高水準製作，本作獲得了空前的成功，創造了主映影院Tiatoru係單館動畫作品歷代票房記錄第一名，前7章DVD累積銷售數75萬張的記錄。作品以擁有直死之眼的兩儀式與普通青年黑桐幹也為中心，描繪了從兩人高中邂逅開始的種種故事，在月世界的灰暗基調下，這殘忍卻又溫馨的物語震撼了許多觀眾的心靈。

《空之境界》的配樂由日本著名作曲及編曲家－梶浦由記所寫。1965年8月6日，梶浦出生於日本東京都，現居於日本東京都西部。梶浦現以製作動畫及遊戲配樂為主，她亦活躍於電視廣告界及電影界。2001年梶浦憑藉TV動畫《NOIR》中獨具個人特色的精良配樂開始被廣大動畫迷所知曉。之後為《高達SEED》、《舞-HiME》、《翼·年代記》、《空之境界》、《潘多拉之心》、《魔法少女小圓》、《Fate Zero》、《刀劍神域》等人氣動畫譜寫的歌曲和配樂都大受好評。

《Quiet Romance》是《空之境界》劇場版第二章《殺人考察-前篇》的配樂，也是本系列所有配樂中，我最喜愛的一首。悠揚的笛聲引出龐大的弦樂，再次歸於管樂，以至靜默。彷彿使人置身於浪漫的樹下，仰望紛紛散落的櫻花，隨風勁舞，終而落入塵埃。這是曲的輪迴亦是人的輪迴，起於根源，終於根源。讓我們先來欣賞網路上的這首音樂：

《Quiet Romance》一共轉了三次調，分別是G調、bB調與D調，都是二胡常用的指法。二胡演奏時，開頭以沉思輕吟的氣息，帶著些許跳動感。中段長笛主旋律出來後，風格轉為華麗悠揚，此時運弓與揉弦都隨氣氛加強。隨著樂曲進行到尾聲，搭配鋼琴，二胡寂然而收。我的演奏上諸多不足的地方，還請各位朋友繼續給予指點囉！

梶浦由記的風格深深地吸引著我，我曾覺得沒能像她一樣寫出如此動人的音樂，是虛度此生了。讓我們拿起二胡，一起演奏這寧靜的浪漫吧！
