This was a test - sending a steady stream of morse code DITS, at 25 words per minute to determine how steady in timing, the dit length, and dit spacing would be when using a MORSE CODE SOFTWARE KEYER.  As you may be able to hear, this dit stream is NOT steady at all when using any windows sound engine such as WDM-KS or even WASAPI.   Therefore, an ASIO SOUND CARD with its own ASIO DRIVER is highly recommended when sending morse code with an iambic paddle hooked to the computer's serial port when using a software keyer.
