Recorded live at Montreal's Front Republic Festival on September 8th, Davian was accompanied by Fotos on live guitar as they opened the day with a beautiful set. 

Their performance perfectly set the vibe for Fabian Krooss, Kora, and Reg Ina, who performed after. Davian and Fotos' sounds blended together in perfect harmony—their chemistry was undeniable. In the ever-evolving landscape of electronic music, a rare alchemy occurs when artists honor tradition while daring to explore the unknown. This delicate balance—respecting roots while reaching toward new sonic horizons—is what defines Chasing Sun(Sets) as more than just a series of sets. Our second sunset ritual features Warsaw-based duo Ewerseen, whose emergence speaks volumes about where house music is headed. Authentic voices are rising from unexpected places—creating new dialogues between cultures, genres, and generations.

Afro House has traditionally been shaped by South and West African roots and carried through global hubs like London, Berlin, and Ibiza. But today, some of the most interesting conversations in the genre are emerging far beyond those expected cities.

From Warsaw—a city with deep electronic lineage but rarely associated with Afro House—Ewerseen shows us that geography no longer defines authenticity. Like Benchek in Marbella, their connection to the sound is rooted in feeling, not location.
