Ben Sunderland is a singer-songwriter and videographer from the Highlands of Scotland. A solo artist and creator, his work is punctuated by regular collaboration between other artists from a variety of creative arts disciplines.

Founding indie folk group Chasing Owls whilst at university opened up the world of touring that honed and refined an enduring love of audience interaction and inclusion in the performance dynamic. This paved the way for a return to solo writing, with a focus on discovering melodic and lyrical character depth through the provision of space and minimalism in both the music and any visual accompaniment. This conversation between music and visuals has informed much of Ben's recent work, with an ever increasing inclusion of videography and visual commentary in the creative process.
