AuBenstation 114

Maltoné - AuBenstation 114 - OSC 146 Sinmad

This track was made for the One Synth Challenge 152 using the free virtual synth Whispair and Ableton Live. 

26 instances of Whispair were used along with standard Ableton effects like: EQ8, Limiter, Utility, Reverb, Echo, Compressor, Convolution Reverb, and Delay.

I used a bass preset by Kraftraum and a few presets by J.Ruegg, thanks! All the other patches I made custom. This is a really cool synth, it has lots of potential.

Goats In The Machine

Maltoné - Goats In The Machine - OSC 152

This track was made for the One Synth Challenge 153 using the free virtual synth K1v and Ableton 10.  All instruments and sounds were made using 30 instances of K1v.

I used the effects mostly to subtly change the stock instruments sounds, plus I made a couple of special effects at the beginning and end of the track.

This track was produced for the One Synth Challenge using the free software synth Triple Cheese by U-he.

30 instances of TC were used for all instruments and sounds in Ableton Live. I used a couple of presets and the rest are custom patches.

This track was produced for the Venus Theory music competition in December 2021. The sounds are a mixture of sampled instruments and synths.

Maltoné - Rising Hero

This track was produced for the January 2022 One Synth Challenge. This month's challenge is to use any one synth to make a track, I chose Operator, Ableton's built in synth. All instrument and sounds were made using 47 instances of Operator.

This track was made for the KVR one synth challenge. 26 instances of the free synth Octasine were used in Ableton 10 suite. These are the Ableton stock plugins used: EQ8 x 21, Reverb/Convolution Reverb x 6, Utility x 3 Echo x 1, Delay x 1, Compressor x1 and Limiter x1.

I also used the 3rd party plugin Youlean Loudness Meter Free.

Maltoné - Dont Say Goodbye - OSC170

This track was composed for the KVR One Synth Challenge 172 using the free software synth Lith. 

Definitely was inspired by Blade Runner and Clockwork Orange for this one. 

I used the random button liberally and then further tweaked the synth settings to finalize the patches.

25 instances of Lith synth were used in Ableton 10 to make all sounds and instruments. Stock effects used: EQ8 x 12; Utility x 13; Delay x 1; Autofilter x 1; Compressor x 3; Echo x 1; Reverb x 3; Saturator x 1; Limiter x 2.

Maltoné - Cosmolith - OSC172

This was produced for the One Synth Challenge 179 using the free software synth Synister for all sounds in the track. I came up with a "guitar through organ amp" sound and a simple three note motif that the track is built around. The guitarish sound is two instances of Synister layered plus some autofilter.

I used 28 instances of Synister in Ableton 10 Suite.
