Born and raised in Miami, Florida. Cubita began her Passion at the young age of 13, in the midst of hardtimes with no other way to express herself, Cubita wrote her first Poem titled "Life is hard" and began her journey into poetry and self expression. Cubita, lover of all music and arts, was particularly inspired by The album, The Fugees The Score. Closely studying this album, learning every word and rhythm, She discovered the science of putting her poetry to a beat. later, she found artistic influences in artists such as Outkast, Goodie Mobb and Erykah Badu which in turn opened her mind to spoken word. growing a deep love for Hip Hop, combining her lyrical expression, the rhythm in her soul, and her passion as an artist, Cubita created what she likes to call "R.A.P." "Rhythm And Poetry". At age 18, Cubita Da Poet met Bboy On N On and had an instant musical connection. As they both began to grow as artists, Cubita Joined her lyrics with his beats.
Throughout the years, Cubita made frequent visits to the island of Cuba. It is there that she discovered Cuban Hip Hop and a group called Orishas. The love for her Roots and culture sparked the idea of writing and lyrically expressing herself in spanish as she has in english. Using Hip Hop to join both cultures, American and Cuban. Cubita branched off, still keeping connection with Bboy On N On, working with every artist, producer, beatmaker that crosses her path. Currently, Cubita's "Rhythm And Poetry" extends to all genres of music, Reggaeton, Rock, Underground Hip Hop, Commercial Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Electronic, Spanish Hip Hop and any other style that may present itself in her journey.

Besides being featured on labels such as Bar25, Kindisch & Akbal Music, Dubelu is an expert at orchestrating spellbinding performances and music that have led him to play at some of the top venues across the world.
