Singer-songwriter and record-maker Chayla Hope has teamed up with Initial Talk (Dua Lipa collaborator) for the release of her “Long Way” remix. Emanating from the duo’s shared passion for the sounds of ‘80s and ‘90s pop, this remix doubles down on the retro sound of this tribute to the new jack swing era, with Initial Talk pushing the song in a ‘90s house direction, referencing the sounds of the Chicago scene to unlock new melodic frontiers for Chayla’s topline vocal. This remix will be included on a digital deluxe version of Hope’s debut album Damn, Feelings, this summer alongside a bespoke run of artist-pressed vinyl with Wax Mage Records.
