It is the beating heart of their creative spirits and the journey they all must take. We create these gems to treasure and reveal our life experiences, hardships we’ve endured, and the lessons we have learned as we journey to Eden. Both natives of Washington D.C., Elizabeth “Liz” Jackson and Deidra “Lovey” Love began their musical journey together in 2012 while performing as background singers for D.C. local artist Robert Snuhgie Stocks. Before their partnership, they both had experience in the Eden of music.

While both women had been performing locally and internationally for years, they quickly discovered that their voices were made to sing in harmony. Singing background together for former EnVogue member Dawn Robinson, recording for Italian Jazz artist GeGe Telesforo, and recording a remake of Chicago’s “If You Leave Me Now” with Patrick Cooper were just a few of the occasions where their voices met. They knew it was time to express what they wanted to say and how they wanted to say it to the world together on their own terms. From there, and with all their years of musical experience, Eden Gem was born. Their sound encompasses a euphoric blend of harmonic voices accompanied by jazz infused rhythm & blues. Their melodies are simplistically complex, sure to captivate the ears of every musical listener and provide them with a unique experience. Eden Gem lyrics tell the story, the story of everyday people on an incredible adventure, allowing all to experience Eden, and its Gems, through their music.

Alexander Darryl is a solo singer/songwriter who comes from many different kinds of genres. He started out playing rock & roll on his guitar at the very tender age of 13. Alexander Darryl had always been kind of reserved therefore not many people knew about his musical talents. Coming from the projects in Detroit there was always a lot of pressure to be great considering all of the talent that was emerging out of Detroit. It was not until high school that Alexander Darryl gained the confidence to really display his talents. At age 16 he got his first invitation to play guitar for a band called “The Dust Band”. “The Dust Band” was a cover band that developed a buzz around the city of Detroit covering bands such as The Commodore’s, Heat Wave, The Jackson 5, and Michael Jackson. As his love for music grew, Alexander Darryl started to focus more on his passion for writing songs and began to develop his own unique style. The fact that Alexander Darryl has played, covered, and written many songs that cover a wide range of genre gives him a style like no other. His key attribute is versatility.  

His  real name is Darryl Alexander Fryer, but as an artist, I’m Alexander Darryl. Alexander only exists online and currently has two albums on iTunes. My third album, “Back To Da Tracks” will be out soon amazon.com. This album has 15 instrumentals ranging from Jazz, Pop, R&B, and Hip-Hop

DJ RA is a Washington, D.C.-based DJ who specializes in techno, reggae, dubstep, go-go music, hip hop, afrobeat, EDM, and phonky. He has been DJing for over 10 years and has played at some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the city, including U Street Music Hall, The 9:30 Club, and the Firefly Music Festival.

DJ RA is known for his eclectic taste in music and his ability to mix genres seamlessly. He is also a master of crowd control, always keeping the dance floor moving. Whether he is playing a deep techno set or a high-energy go-go set, DJ RA always knows how to get the party started.

In addition to his DJing, DJ RA is also a producer. He has released several EPs and singles, and his music has been featured on major streaming platforms. He is also a member of the production duo The Funky Buddhas, who have produced music for some of the biggest names in go-go music.
