Questo split album è il risultato di una amicizia consolidata e di una stima reciproca tra le due band che ebbe inizio nel 2010, quando i Dispo si affiancarono, in un tour europeo, ad un altro gruppo di Liverpool, i Stig Noise Sound System, di cui Joel (membro originario dei Barberos) era il batterista. L'affiatamento che si creò tra i vari componenti fù tale che si parlò sin da subito di collaborazioni future, ma non si riuscì a concretizzare nulla fino a quest'estate, quando a fronte di un nuovo tour europeo e del secondo album in fase di ultimazione, il quartetto di Roma pensò bene di scomodare le vecchie conoscenze per suggellare finalmente quell'intento, inespresso per troppo tempo. Joel che aveva definitivamente abbandonato gli Stig Noise, per dedicarsi al suo progetto madre, i Barberos per l'appunto, aderì entusiasticamente annunciando la possibilità di inserire nel disco due brani rimasti fuori dal loro ultimo LP, “OOO” (2012); i Dispo dal canto loro, misero a disposizione due anticipazioni del loro nuovo album più una già edita, Roberto Trilli, riproposta in una nuova veste solo per quest’ uscita.

Il resto, come si dice, è (già) storia. 

Nerds Attaches

茶漬け（ちゃづけ）とは、米飯に茶をかけたもののこと日本と同じく米飯を主食とし、茶を嗜む中国においては、飯に茶をかけて食べるという食習慣はなく、一般的な中国人は、茶漬けという食習慣を知ったときかなり驚くようである。一般に茶漬けと言えば、熱い液体（熱い茶や熱いだし汁）をかけるものであるが、盛夏などには、よく冷えた麦茶などをかけて、冷たい食感を楽しみながら食べる人もいる。世代とお茶漬け古くから食べられていたのは、名の由来の通り、熱い白湯や茶をかけたものである。その手軽さから軽便食としては元より、豪勢なご馳走を食べた後の後口をさっぱりさせるため、また山岳食としても長らく親しまれている。これらでは、冷えて固くなった飯を急いで食べるために、飯だけを詰めた弁当箱に茶を掛ける人も見られる。しかし、若い世代には市販のインスタント茶漬けのみを小さい頃から食べ慣れている事から、ご飯にインスタント食品の同製品でなく味のしない「お茶」をかけるのを好まない者もいる。ただ1990年代以降に日本で発生した朝粥ブームもあって、粥の類似料理である茶漬けに凝る人も見られた。
