Formed in 2021, Cheap Monarchy has emerged as an exciting addition to the storied Chicago alternative music scene. A bright, alt-rock sound influenced by The Strokes, COIN, and Saint Motel coupled with energetic live performances make Cheap Monarchy a band to watch.

Cheap Monarchy has headlined / played sets at a number of Chicago venues including Subterranean, Sleeping Village, HVAC Pub, Reggies, and Cubby Bear. Big plans are in store for 2023 including headlining Chicago shows, summer festivals, and releasing their debut EP. Lead single "Lights On" is available on all platforms. The boys look forward to seeing you on a dance floor near you soon!
