This one's been brewing for a while... This week, Paul and Eli dust off the second hand Blu-Ray player, grab a dirt cheap movie from a charity shop and give it a proper CheapShow evaluation. However, this film may be too much for the cheap chaps as it is one of Paul's (and soon to be Eli's) most hated films... "A Good Day to Die Hard", the painful 5th entry into the Die Hard franchise. Will it break them both? What will they do when they can't take any more? Is there a Plan B? You'll find out this week, just as soon as they both stop trying to invent disgusting rides at a CheapShow Theme Park first!

Ep 201: Tabula Rasa

For our special Halloween episode for 2020, we finally reveal just exactly what happened after the massacre at the end of their live 200th episode Twitch event. With a blood soaked studio and a crazed fair weather co-host, Paul and Eli run out into the nearby forest to escape a grisly end. Will they survive the night? Who knows? It's a evening filled with violent murder, terrible cheap eats, blood curdling board games and a safe house containing quite a lot of Gannon's Ghostbusters tat. If Ash doesn't finish off Paul, it's very likely Eli will do the job for him...
Ash knows where they are hiding. He is watching them. Ready to strike!

If you want to know why this week's edition of the economy comedy podcast is called "Jizzy Pigs", you will (sadly) discover all too soon. Suffice it to say, it's not nice and it involves pigs. Beyond that nightmarish promise, it's business as usual in the House of Pickles! This episode comes complete with an edition of The Price of Shite, and in a nice change of pace, all the items are actually useful. There are also a LOT of "Ptwings" for the taking, but will Eli manage to grab them all? Also, Paul and Eli take a deeper than expected dive into the world of "Irn Bru" the famous Scottish soft drink that has quite the history! Somehow this segment involves a visit to both the Frothshop AND the Soda Jerk Store. Kinda.

Ep 203: Jizzy Pigs

What is comedy exactly? It's not 100% clear if Paul and Eli know what comedy is at all, but this week, they attempt to look at what is often erroneously called "Anti-Comedy" thanks to another delicious vinyl record discovery! The cheap chaps take a deep dive into the world of alternative comedy, the work of Ted Chippington, psychobilly music and curious independent record labels in this week's Silverman's Platter. Paul has something special to show off this week too! Although it's tough to call it a "cheap" purchase (thanks packaging and postal costs), the Gannon's Golden Game segment gets a new addition when Paul reveals his electronic The Price is Right game. It's bloody lovely! Don't worry if you think we are all taking it too seriously this week, there is also Paul's "Grandad Discipline Stick" and Eli's "Knob People" to look forward to!

Ep 204: Anti-Comedy

After the shocking fallout of last week's episode, Paul & Eli are currently in negotiations for the return of Larry Inchman to the show. We hope you can forgive our error of judgement. Ep 212: Create-A-Crisp

On CheapShow this week, Paul and Eli have a major case of the "Do You Remembers?" when they chance upon a big, thick book of cartoons. It's a whistle stop tour of British animation, comic book classic, lost gems and forgotten memories. We barely scratch the surface! If you half remember Dogtanian, Frank Sidebottom and whatever Action Gran is, have we got a trip down memory lane for you! Along the way, we also discover which 1980's celebrity likes which classic cartoon character (It's probably all made up though!) Elsewhere in the podcast, we have a bumper edition of The Price of Shite where Eli is gifted with another toy teddy bear. A truly upsetting moment in CheapShow history, as you will quickly find out. Lastly, there is a very good chance Eli's use of a Korean energy drink has fanned the flames of his "Egg Special" idea. God help us all!
