I wouldn't call it 'surprisingly little', tbh. Both movies hold up really well thanks to being balanced and rich in subtext.

This may not be the “Noodle Special” you expected, but maybe it's the “Noodle Special” you need! This week, CheapShow dedicates a whole episode to the wonder that is the Nissin Cup Noodle instant meal! However, this is not just any old cup noodle episode, it's a very special one as Paul & Eli celebrate the 50th anniversary of Nissin's world-famous portable snack! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our listening audience, CheapShow was very fortunate to get their dirty little hands on the very limited edition "Nissin 50th Anniversary Cup Noodle Soda Pack"! What's inside the pack? Well, apart from the many cup noodles and many flavours, there are also some tasty looking Umaibo sticks and... A range of bottled sodas, flavoured in curry, ramen stock, chili tomato and seafood! Noodle flavoured soft drinks? This can't be a good idea, can it? Why not find out in this very noodle flavoured episode! All food and drink will be sampled and, just maybe, bring peace on earth to CheapShow, at least for one episode!

Paul and Eli have never had much luck during Halloween. They've been attacked by a pervy hamster, attacked by a crazed fan, spent a long, dull night at a haunted house and was chased through the woods by an axe wielding guest! Another year gone, another Christmas is on it's way and unfortunately that means it's time for another drunken, angry CheapShow Office Party. As the booze flows, Paul and Eli attempt to bring some Yuletide cheer to economy comedy podcast in the only way they know how... badly! Paul makes a tonne of effort and Eli manages to do less than nothing and that makes Paul turn to the bottle. They break open some budget Xmas Crackers, sample some inexpensive booze, cheap festive eats and manage to ruin several well-loved Christmas songs by giving them a CheapShow update. You have been warned. For the grand finale, Paul has curated a very special "Price of Shite" for Eli to tackle. If Eli is successful, there is a very special prize indeed! But just when the office party was starting to become a more heart-warming experience, Paul simply had to answer his phone... And it all ends rather badly! If you can survive this Xmas party, you can survive any of them! Merry Christmas!

It's been a big old year for the CheapShow chaps, so they are going to celebrate Christmas in style... with an elaborate, no expense spared, all star Christmas office party... Which goes about as well as you think. Paul is drunk and rude, Eli is sober and angry and no matter how hard they try, they can't keep their "celebrity friends" for interfering. So pour a festive drink, relax and join the party. There's a bit of Chas N Dave, crackers to pull, food and drink to devour, presents to give and a finale which promises to be amazing... but ultimately isn't. At all.
