RIP 2010-2020
tshima was a project where I learned to make music for both myself and others. It gave form to many emotions and experiences for a decade of my life. It was also a personal exploration of the SoundCloud platform as it grew into a behemoth of amazing creators then fell into a pit of repetition, nostalgia and "clout chasing. " I thank all of the amazing people that I met and/or collaborated with both online and in person through this project and platform. "tshima" is not dead, but will continue to live on in a form not entirely the way it's been up to this point (but not entirely unlike some places it's gone before).  This place has made me feel increasingly disillusioned and detached in just as many ways as it made me feel driven and included. All tshima songs have been moved to my Bandcamp for free download, if there's any want for it. Aside from that, I will be moving all creative pursuit into various projects that have either already existed or are currently in infancy stages. Thank you for any interest. - ｐｏｏｎ ｊａｍｓ ２００８

i just spam stuff i like, and when i don't have time to listen to something i think i might like, i spam it anyway so that i can listen, DL or buy it later.

if i really spammed you a lot though, i probably want you to make more of it.

i only pirate music when i literally can't ACCESS a way to pay for it or otherwise support it. i'm one of those people who mutes a streaming service like spotify and puts one of my favs on repeat, just so they get royalties while i listen to something else in a different media player...

((shoutout to all my favs who never offer digital downloads or any kind of paid streaming, so i have to rip a shitty version of your limited 50-print CD instead of giving U the money U deserve for making me so happy..but i love you anyway, sharpnelsounds~ <3 ))

anyway, here i am to supplement my bandcamp addiction... or is it the other way around... 

i'm an audio-tactile synesthete. i didn't realize this for a while, and it sounds like bullshit tbh but apparently it's one of the rarest forms of synaesthesia.
 i experienced some ~*~casual brain damage due to trauma and sickness~*~ over the last few years &... it's been a LOT more intense ever since. this is pretty wonderful, but also confusing. i'll take it.

(on the still silver sidel, it took this much to make me realize i want to learn to make music. on the dark fleshy inside, it makes learning that much harder)

i don't have any friends who experience music quite the way i do. not even music i mean just.... sounds. don't be afraid to message me. if i don't reply, it's never personal. i'm just missing...something. i probably had a dream i replied to you already and am waiting for your response. 

i still wouldn't mind meeting someone who likes the same sounds that i do as much as i do.

final thought: if i had to pick the artist i miss the most since i've been gone, it's el poco maro. i miss him so much. wish i knew why he took his stuff down.
