Growing up in Arizona, music was just another chore for the young artist who would become J.Rob, and his music producer father instilled in him both a love of hip-hop and a tireless work ethic. “As a kid, I’d spend late nights in the studio with my dad,” he remembers. “After my homework, I couldn’t play PlayStation or play basketball, I had to write music.”  All the years of practice have paid off in dividends, because now his hard work looks effortless.
