"Faith" is a track that evolved around an old sample I once uploaded somewhere but never used myself. It features voice clips of a popular video where former US president Obama is having a debate with a group of students. They are talking about essential things like democracy and the people's believe in politics which is a nice thing to see or rather hear people talk about. In times like these, where uncertainty is the only thing that's really certain, it's nice to think back and explore some of the rather bright episodes of the past. I quit glorifying the past since that's an addiction all by itself if you ask me but there's nothing wrong about acknowledging the good things of the past in times when democracy and basic human rights seem to be at stake.
How one sees the world is always a question of perception and what you make of it but I think there's also some sort of common ground and rules we all live by.
We live on this planet together, even though we all have our own boxes we create for ourselves. We drink the same water, breathe the same air and we all sleep for about one third of our lives. We are all different yet we are all very similar.
Music is a great medium for establishing a strong connection to a deeper consciousness. It's a powerful tool to dive into emotion and enhance your human experience. Music can be a tool, it can help you cry. It can make you angry, feel guilty. Music is the only thing that keeps us going sometimes, when times are rough. It helps us, it guides us through the mysts of hurt. Music is life.
