“Damme la Drette” has a Balearic vibe with folkloric elements. The chords create an engaging, slightly hypnotic atmosphere that recalls early house sounds with a broken beat. Vocalist Ilaria Fuggetti sings in the dialect of the historic trading city of Taranto.

On remix duties is former Gigolo Recordings hero Filippo Moscatello, aka DJ Naughty, who teamed up with Tolis, with whom he previously released on Russ Gabriel’s legendary Ferox imprint in the '90s. Their version takes a completely different direction, resulting in a track with a truly unique atmosphere—raw, stoic, and almost distorted at the low end, while melodic and sweet on top. This is their first output in some time, and they’ve absolutely nailed it. Welcome back!

This ambitious work encapsulates the diversity and international relevance of the project, while firmly grounding it in Puglia’s cultural heritage.

Pulliatronica explores three decades of Italian dance music, with many tracks featuring vocals in regional dialects from the Bari and Puglia areas. Cheema invites listeners on a journey that is as authentic as it is innovative—a true celebration of Apulian tradition reimagined through the lens of electronic music.
