28 North is currently playing tour dates nationally and working with ace producer Gavin MacKillop (Goo Goo Dolls, MXPX, Kitten, Echo and the Bunnymen) on the follow up to their 2014 break out record "World on Fire."

Recently voted Best Band in the land by Pittsburgh Magazine, the members of the band — Michael Lindner, Tyler Bond, and Mark Glinka,— have been showcasing their unique blend of rock and roll all across the U.S. from New York to California, and everywhere in between. An ever-growing mob of fans has been coming out to watch 28 North tour with groups like ZZ Top, Train, Blues Traveler, Young the Giant, Dawes, My Morning Jacket, TV on the Radio, and Crash Kings. Los Angeles has been their home since September 2011.  With appearances at the SXSW and CMJ festivals, 28 North has taken their act over the top with their new record, "World on Fire". With their unparalleled vocal harmonies, virtuosic guitar work, polished hook laden songwriting, a rapidly expanding fan base, and their boundless charisma, it's only a matter of time before "28 North" is blazing from the stadium lights.

Straight from the projects of Benton Harbor, MI. Michael Green aka Mickey G will show you what dedication is all about . . Amazed by the unity, and in a sense, the spiritual ritual experienced from the crowd. He was blown away by the power of an instrument, being able to push such joy through speakers and creating the ultimate bliss was the moment, he new what he was meant to do.
 
Only beginning in 2009 Mickey will show you the passion he has created through his sets. With inspirations from the success of some local talent and personal favorites such as Item9, SP Chase, Timothy Getz, and Matt EP he is determined to follow in their footsteps. Spending his days transforming bass lines and editing classics to form new creations he will continue to push the envelope. With the desire to give a different experience every time he hits the decks that’s exactly what you’ll get. Not tied down to one genre all he cares about is what will make you move. Deaf is one ear you’ll never see Mickey with a pair of headphones. This allows him to feel the downbeat and count bars which he feels allows him to focus on the crowd more instead of the equipment.

When it’s all about the music Mickey looks for talent over popularity and gets that from some of his biggest influences. Bassnectar, Dieselboy, Jay Cee O, Ookay, and Mix Master Mike just to name a few. With Influences like that you know that when he hit’s the stage he’ll always be able to make you feel the beat.
