One-piece band; hates people.

Melbourne band Beauchamp's Tenth Horse combines lush intrumentation and complex arrangements. Their dynamic music traverses a range of genres, from noisy experimental rock, to folksy alt-country, to ambient soundscapes — often within a single song. This creates a restless tension between moments that are alternatively minimal and multi-layered, harmonious and discordant, or catchy and dissonant. Beauchamp's Tenth Horse sounds like a metronomic Crazy Horse. Or a laconic Roxy Music.

Beauchamp's Tenth Horse comprises one member, multi-instrumentalist Lee Yeoh, originally from Sydney. Their elaborate sonic landscape is testament to Lee's history as an audio engineer at legendary Sydney institution bigjesusburger (BJB) Studios. There, he worked with numerous artists, from experimental pioneers Oren Ambarchi and Keiji Haino, to artists such as Regurgitator, Decoder Ring and Sleepy Jackson.

Prior to that, Lee was a member of the alt-country/post-punk five-piece band prol-tung, where he played guitar, keyboards, banjo, glockenspiel, sequencer, saxophone and theremin, recording an album with Augie March's Adam Donovan in 2003.
