Dreamz - First song off the Green Project

The Green Project

The Green Project is set to be released on 20 June 2019. This JAHBOY album is the second instalment in the trilogy of colours collection, which have songs that are linked with their wide metaphorical meanings of each colour. The three colours in this trilogy of colours collection are Red, Green and Yellow. 

The Green Project made up of seven songs, is more of a conscious LP. The songs are associated with dreams and journeys, hope, self-belief and second chances, the environment, greed and jealousy, growth and nature. The music styles are mostly reggae fusions, with one song being an exception. They are all tied together by what sets JAHBOY apart, his flavour and creativity to combine and try new things. 

The songs are: Dreamz, You’re Beautiful (And You Don't Even Know), Karma of the Butterfly Effect, Drama, Bad Mun, Pakaolo and More Than You Know. 

One of the songs, Pakalolo, was recorded with the award-winning producer, Syrix from Irievibrations Records based out of Austria. The song was also featured in Reggae Vibes magazine. 

In September 2016, JAHBOY released the Red Album, which had 12 songs. The Red Album is a musical journey in sound, lyrics and the emotional impressions of energy, passion, loss, pain, frustrations, rejection, sexual fantasies and love; emotions ignited by the colour red to different degrees. From roots to dancehall, to fusions to reggae pureness.

"Karma of the Butterfly Effect" is track 3 from JAHBOY's Green Project LP. The song is a call out to the world about climate change and global warming. Mother nature laments and asks us all why. We the youth need to protest.
