In the early '00s, Smay found his passion for Techno, which transformed towards Minimal over the years.

In 2005, Smay started mixing the two genres together while combining them with minimalistic HardTechno and Schranz.

In the beginning, he used digital equipment for mixing but found his love for vinyl in the year 2009. Since then, he has been solely playing vinyl.

In 2016, he discovered (UK) AcidTechno, which immediately captured his heart and represents to him the greatest music in electronic history. He interprets it as a statement, feeling, love and passion, detached from every rule of music.

In the same year, he was determined to plan his own party and, therefore, founded the label "Acid Splash". With this label, he quickly established a name in the Swiss Techno-Scene and the AcidTechno-Scene all around the world.

Smay's experiences range from playing in clubs and parties in Switzerland over deepest underground raves and illegal parties to well-known locations in London, Barcelona, Dublin, Sardinia and Colombia Tour
