This journey is part 1 of a musical adaptation of the story "The XO apparatus"
Written by Ben Kachagias, a talented graphic designer from Sydney.

The XO Apparatus draws heavy inspiration from the thought experiment “Ship of Theseus”, specially Plutarch’s rendition. In which a ship incrementally has its faulty parts replaced. Eventually the ship finds itself in a state, exclusively composed of replacement components. The question emerges, at which point does the ship lose its original identity. When applied in context to the technological developments theorized in The XO Apparatus the question is extended further to the meaning of humanity. Within the narrative Amber struggles to fight for control over what is perhaps the most critical component of one's identity; human sentience. The story discusses man's relationship to technology. In a society that is ever increasingly dependent on the machine as an agent for life, will man's dependency cost him his free will. Will man's dependency cost him his humanity.

Chiaro brings the light and the dark together with droning ominous soundscapes, robotic sounds, organic textures and heavy rolling basslines. Built to bring forward a journey through the psychedelic realm of sound.

A representation of harmony through the construction of melodic progression and the harmonization of figured basses and melodies.
Chenk will take you through a journey of destructive impacts, dark , bellowing atmospheres and psychedelic soundscapes with full power rolling basslines. A touch of chunk to get you bounce but not hesitating to push it into overdrive to really get you dancing, this is one man who will hands down bring the floor and keep it going.
