Tips for Traveling with Kids

Call and response, ebb and flow. This concept of Chiaroscuro or strong, bold, contrasts between shadow and brightness. The affect can, and does... define so many releases. How common, is a theme that we can all identify but may not name immediately. For what it’s worth, it does make wonderful moments. And so we arrive here, with Minjoon, and in turn what Initiate Records are using as an idea and artistic focus all the better, as they play with the notion of musical freedom and let their friends and artists they trust, define themselves under an idea rather than defined sound.

Living in Portland, Oregon gives Frank Lupel Chiaro a great opportunity to spend time in nature and find every opportunity he can to try and preserve the environment on the planet we call home. He enjoys traveling and exploring the world’s wonders with a commitment to preserving the natural beauty that will be around for generations to come.

A volunteer with the Cook County Forest Preserve, a former member of a Canyoning Club, and a student member of the Marine Biology and Lake Ecology Programs at Shedd Aquarium, Frank Lupel Chiaro has always been passionate about environmentalism and conservation. He even spent four months in Hawaii as a member of the Pacific Discovery GAP Program during his time in college, working on beach cleanups and restoration projects. Frank Chiaro believes that our time on this Earth is an experience that we can all take advantage of, and it's a great way to learn about the world around us.

Outside of his studies and volunteering opportunities, Frank Lupel Chiaro enjoys spending time with family and friends, and traveling as much as possible. He has had the opportunity to learn more about other cultures while traveling, especially in recent years. He believes that this can help him become a more well-rounded person.
