The HQ Version of the Hello Ice Cream Truck Song! This song has been gracing ice cream trucks since the early 2000s or late 90s. It is one of 32 songs on Nichols Electronics' Omni music box. In fact, it is song #3 on Channel 1 of the Omni box, which was discontinued in 2006 and recently revived for a limited time in 2017. The song is called "Picnic" but to me, it sounds like "Welcome to the Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance with "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain" thrown in at the end. Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this way about this nostalgic tune. And PLEASE DON'T ALSO TELL ME that I was the only one who was terrified of that "HELLO?" bit. Also, that rap beat makes it soooo 90s. And a fun fact: The Omni music box has 3 songs featuring the "HELLO?" sound effect which are this one, channel 1 song 7 (a spiritual hymn written by Jean Jacques Rosseau, called Lord Dismiss Us With Thy Blessing), and channel 2 song 16 (If You're Happy and You Know It, Clap Your Hands). All 3 "HELLO?" songs have a rap beat and several goofy sound effects, such as a boing sound and animal sounds.

For the 25th Anniversary slot in Hour 2, it's a pleasure to welcome Peter Serafinowicz to Solid Steel. Actor, comedian, the voice to Darth Maul in Star Wars, has his own TV show, co-wrote the brilliant Look Around You,  video director, appeared in Spaced amongst many others ..............
