Prodigal Apostles consist of various different age groups, backgrounds and way of life; We’ve been touched by God, returned to Him and now serve Him through song and music. We belong to different parishes from Klang, Port Klang and Shah Alam in this beautiful country Malaysia. We have been active in the Christian music scene for the past 13 years and have played for various churches and ministries for events, concerts, camps and formations. Our mission is to touch and bless God’s loving heart through song and music and to reach out to the youths and the lost sheep and to bring them back to Christ our Saviour. We are also a ministry for the people to look for in times of despair. When in times of rejection we are there to lift and encourage lives, when life is felt not worth living for anymore we are here to put back those broken pieces of hearts, and when there is a feeling that God is not on your side we will show you the true meaning of Christ and lead you to Him.

Psytrus is a t-shirt and jeans kinda guy. Having been in the indie music scene for the past 7 years as frontman of Slunk (now on hiatus), and later embarking on a different musical journey of self discovery. Trading the electric guitar and the expansive gadgetry for an acoustic guitar, Psytrus is baring all. Never being the one afraid to experiment, expect to hear sounds influenced by the alternative 90’s, the psychedelic 60’s and the kitchen sink.

Having made some waves playing solo acoustic, Psytrus eventually started performing with a backing band, The Third Party, (named after an inside joke). The Third Party is occasionally augmented with guest musicians on harmonica, saxophone, piano or violin to add a twist to the arrangement. Whether it’s Psytrus solo, or Psytrus and the Third Party, it all boils down to the story of a man and his guitar, with lyrics from the heart and music from the soul.

Psytrus operates Pulse Soundworks, a recording studio in SS18, Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Since Slunk and Psytrus and the Third Party, he has played/sessioned for numerous acts including FishEye, Rashdan Harith, Salam, Ray Cheong and most recently, HardCandy. Psytrus also writes and composes music for corporate use, most recent being “Atasi Segalanya”, the theme song for the Malaysian Olympic contingent.
