POB (EP): an electronic, ambient follow-up to Chewing's 2018 debut LP. The EP is a sparse ambient landscape, laced with delicate piano. Orchestral, dreamlike electronica meets neo-classical; simultaneously natural and unnatural, alien but familiar, calm and aggressive. The instrumental EP soundtracks an experimental two-screen short film made with Jonathan Chu, who previously collaborated with Nik for his band Local Natives’ “Tap Dancer” music video, that will be screened in art galleries in LA & NYC this fall.
