Description: there are only slight differences in this second version. i swapped the piano-like synth in the chorus to an actual piano sound lolz because it sounded a bit better to me. i also made sure to add the claps in this time because i forgot to with the last version. the bassline’s also different in the chorus to fill it out. not too much, but i’m sure i’ll keep changing some stuff.

quite inspired by the game of the same name! having played the game very frequently throughout the years, starting from when i was a little boy in elementary school and loading up cool math games in the computer lab, i’ve grown very fond of it! i know i could fix a few things in the song, but i hope it sounds a bit reminiscent of the game. :P

this was sorta inspired by “the great mermaid”! i really like the bass and the bassline of that song, so i wanted to try something along those lines. of course this isn’t as good, but i think it was a nice attempt. this was also supposed to be a bit video game inspired.

i don’t like the pre-choruses lol but at the time i made it, around august of 2022, i didn’t know shit about keys and scales so i just went mostly by ear. i don’t think it went too well here lol but i tried. also if it wasn’t obvious, i wanted this to sound like a video game song. i could’ve done better but i do like the drums.

honestly, i don’t know what compelled me to make this lmao. i was thinking about jpop and eccentric chords. actually, i think i was sort of inspired by a CocoSori song, but i don’t remember it since i’ve never actually fully heard, just a few seconds. i started from the chords at the start and fleshed it out, which felt impossible to me because i didn’t know how to go from there but i managed to do it somehow. it’s also sort of inspired fromis_9’s “Love Bomb”, which is so fucking good, oh my godddd!!!! the bubbly arpeggiated synth during the verses and the prechorus drums are inspired from “Love Bomb”. it’s supposed to be a little theatrical, almost dramatic in a way. quite showy maybe. it’s just supposed to be fun lol.
