Deep in the jungle hinterlands of Byron Bay, a Rainbird hatched, embarking on an exploration of how music affects the brain in a collective environment - for instance, a dancefloor.

Rainbird is a boundless experimental 4x4 project, blending psychedelia with a fresh new age twist throughout hefty basslines with snappy tendencies, falling somewhere in between bush techno, prog, house and glitch hop.

After years working with Zenon Records, Kalya Scintilla’s Merkaba Music and Smoke Sign’s Werk It Music, Rainbird is now a core member of the Stone Seed family, spearheading the Australian bush techno movement. From his acclaimed Naturalist, Naturalist Remixed and Cicada EPs (Stone Seed) through to The Inquisitor (Perfect Stranger’s Digital Structures imprint) and Desiderata Remix (Canada’s Techgnosis Records), Rainbird has proven his position on the forefront of the outdoor music contemporary culture.

Originally performing at doofs and festivals with all original DJ/live sets at just 16 years old, Rainbird has evolved into a regular and favoured performer at Splendour In The Grass, Rabbits Eat Lettuce & Bohemian Beatfreaks, whilst also gracing Esoteric, Mushroom Valley, Subsonic Music Festival, Origins of Entropy, and all corners of the country.

Unable to contain his creativity to just one guise, Rainbird pioneers two other projects of equal musical genius: Organic Distortion (progressive psytrance project signed to Iboga Records and Alien Records) and Square Eyes (DNB / dubstep).

Eminent composer and musician Eric Mouquet is a Grammy award-winning composer who has worked with and produced for artists like Peter Gabriel, Youssou N'Dour, Joe Zawinul, Josh Groban, Ana Torroja, 
Herbie Hancock,  Mell, Chitose Hajime ,Sa Dingding, Catherine Lara, Charles Aznavour, and many more.
Eric Mouquet is also founder of Deep Forest, the pioneering ethno-ambient electronica band. He is on the cusp of a musical renaissance that promises to explore new directions, combinations and influences in ambient world music.

An anonymous space traveler made contact with the first aircraft to leave the solar system, which was created to outlast any human creation & the earth itself, inside, some type of time capsule. 

“The Golden Record” that’s expected to remain intelligible for more than a billion years, carries the message using sound, the universal language. A 12 inch gold copper disk containing music and images selected to portray the diveristy of life on planet earth.

The unique craft would drift endlessly among the stars of our galaxy after it´s -238 plutonium-thermoelectric power generator failed, unless someone or something encountered it one day. It was just a big human dream, to think the record would ever be found. It was a gift, offered without hope of return.
