Sometimes things just click well and this remix was that.

When I learned Owl City set up his contest, I was so happy because I had already an early finished version and was hoping for the stems to be given to me some way or the other, since vocal extraction generally doesn't work too well. With these stems I ended up finishing my remix and I am glad to release it in its full potential (within the time constraints).

It's a blessing to make a remix for my favourite artist from my childhood / early teens. I remember listening and singing Adam's songs all the time as a kid; really it was my first step towards music production.

Today marks my 20th birthday so I decided to give you all a gift. Producing music was a passion I never saw coming, but it's one I'm really happy I got into. I sometimes still wonder what life would be like if I had gone all in with music and studied it for college, but I'm thankful that I'm still able to produce. I wrote this song because I've spent a lot of birthdays alone due to everyone being busy, but I enjoyed the solitude. I was alone, but I wasn't lonely. So here's a song for those of you who aren't having the best Christmas.
