Here we have the new EP of the label produced by a new upcoming artist from the endless British talent pool: Riley (UK). He already released in labels like Issues or Short Circuit and now is the time of a fresh bunch of nice tracks: 'Fundamentally Funky' is groovy up-to-date house music, 'From Da Sampler' is minimal for the dancefloor and 'Let Us Begin' is about a huge bassline and some smart samplings. Route 94 makes his Solid Grooves debut as he serves up his first original material for two years with the infectious grooves of 'Clapped'. 

Having broken through via a series of globally renowned anthems, Rowan Jones, aka Route 94, has been hard at work in the studio of late, taking time away to explore pockets of early influences across house, techno, minimal, disco and beyond. Unveiling his first original material for over two years, he makes his first appearance on Solid Grooves with his new single 'Clapped' - revealing a favourite of label co-founder PAWSA's and a staple track from his sets across the summer.

A vibrant energy-fuelled production harnessing soulful vocals, driving low-ends, skipping percussion and spiralling synths, 'Clapped' brings an abundance of vigour to showcase a production built for the peak time as Jones makes a big return in impressive fashion.

Deeply involved and connected to the club culture of their hometown for over a decade, Manchester's Mason Collective's ascent from local promoters to stars of the international scene has been nothing short of meteoric. Now delivering their DFTD debut with double track release 'A Little Affection', the trio demonstrate their club-focussed sound with a groove-laden EP soaked in dancefloor energy. Kicking off with the sultry and smooth lead track, hypnotic bleeps and chopped pads merge beneath a catchy vocal hook for a slice of club magic. 'Lost My Way' follows, where a bouncy groove wiggles along the low end, as the mesmerizing vocal and horn snippets add to the record's mystic quality.

Audiojack’s 90s Dreamin’ EP samples some throwbacks to their youth, when hip-hop featured prominently on the speakers. “We made 90s Dreamin’ as a secret weapon for the end of our own DJ sets, and after a year of airplay and tracklist requests, it’s time to release it. No Biggie is another familiar throwback we made to get the dancefloor moving earlier in a set.” 

The EP is out now on Gruuv, with support from DJs including Marco Carola, Hector Couto, Riva Starr, Jamie Jones, Huxley, Lo Steppa, and Hannah Wants.

Silk & Fuss debut on Solid Grooves Raw with their latest single, 'Funky Freddy'.

Emerging duo Sulk & Fuss are one of the latest rising acts from within the rich Dutch house scene to be gaining some serious momentum having featured for the likes of ANTS at Amsterdam's renowned Kingsland Festival whilst running their radio show 'Silk & Fuss' Finest', hosting a range of artists including Solid Grooves residents Bassel Darwish and
Ramin Rezaie.

Next up, the duo look set to welcome their biggest release to date as they debut on Solid Grooves' sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw, offering up their latest single 'Funky Freddy' this September.
