London-based DJ, festival organizer, and musician Polly, aka Poly-Ritmo, sets hips and feet on fire with sounds from all over the world. Growing up with jazz, soul, Latin music, and folk, she started working at 15 at Sounds Of The Universe (the home of Soul Jazz Records). After regular shows on SOAS Radio, Netil, and guest appearances on NTS, Jazz FM, and Balamii, Poly-Ritmo became a member of the Worldwide FM family, playing everything from forró to broken beat, kwaito to zouk. A regular at top festivals like Glastonbury, Gala, We Out Here, Shambala, Lost Village, and many others, she is also the co-founder and creative director of the Basket of Light Festival. She is behind our 227th mix.

On March this year (2025) I had the huge honour to travel to Brazil and play there in some amazing venues with some of the best DJs and curators in the country!

One of this places is Sala Especial/Futrica and just like the name says is a very "Special Room" indeed. Did a cooperation along with @luysalvati and @sonidoyaguaro in the Baile Cajuína party. It was one of the best experiences so far as a DJ and hopefully I can return there soon to play again!
