Collaborations started between Poughkeepsie, New Paltz and Woodstock. Let BombMob descend - the mob are those at the event, the bomb makes it happen. A modern fusion of reggae and dance music, this live improv-driven band goes from down tempo dub to hopping electro house, oftentimes just as a power trio: Drawing on Mista Lew's tenure with roots reggae keyboardist Nathaniel "Natty" Wailer, the electro Savage's unholy marriage of all things savage and electric, with the mixology and dubniscience of dubtronisist Tomachine, BombMob delivers unique modern dance ridden grooves, from cool to hot.
Guest artists enlist in the mob, ranging from instrumentalists to vocalists, MCs and visual artists.

Mysta Lu got his start in experimental music - moving into jazz and world music as he went - he sought out and studied bass and percussion w many great players - legends of their instruments in their own right.  In the year 2000 he made friends and picked up the bass with Natty Wailer - ex Bob Marley,FamilyMan,King Tubby - keyboardist - Hear mr. Lu's bass on Natty's first solo album entitled Lifted - through this connection he's had the opportunity to open for and meet many artists famous in reggae - like Culture with Joseph Hill, Wailers, Mighty Diamonds, and Black Uhuru's Michael Rose.  Here are some songs that may not be perfect but hopefully you'll find something in there that will make you want to laugh or dance or cry - his band bombmob capture the dub flavor from his bass but have a unique sound of their own - check out their militant dub/improv acid trance sound at a club or festival near you!
