Underground Audio presents 'Wacomin', the latest release from the young Manchester based DJ/Producer Kreature.

Thick basslines rumble alongside playful percussion to create the title track, 'Wacomin', an infectious roller made for the main room. Tech-House heavyweight Raumakustik is on remix duties, distorting the sound to create a deep chest-thumper. 

Pulling together elements from his various musical influences, third track 'Aya' shows Kreature at his versatile best. Low rolling basslines play off against ambient soundscapes to create an early-morning hazy sonic mirage.

The EP rounds off with a bang. 'One Catch' uses rhythmic percussion to set pace from the off, stabbing synths and vocals penetrate the sub-heavy bass producing a smokey late night banger of a track.

"im tired of hearing tracks that are obviously made to make the Beatport Top 10 charts! That market doesn’t interest me at all' Instead, I'm looking to release music that will still be around in 10 years time. Music aimed primarily at the danc efloor. Music with soul and depth and meaning. this is the reason i am launching Moxy Muzik." these are the the words Darius Syrossian used to answer a recent question in an interview on why he is launching his new label

And here we are, the first release on the new Moxy Muzik VINYL & DIGITAL label, an essential EP featuring one of his own originals and excellent remixes by Man Power, East End Dubz and Doc Martin. each EP released on the label comes with bespoke, hand-drawn artwork by Charlotte Archer.

The opening track on this first EP on Moxy Muzik is Dance of the Shaman, a turbo charged house cut with warm, rubbery bass made from the unorthodox method of using an Organ underlining slick and driving drums. The infectious groove is full of late night soul and chords stabs bring plenty of human emotions. 

Me Me Me label boss Man Power remixes it into an uplifting track with happy piano chords dancing over the drums. It’s a timeless effort that will get hands in the air and bring real joy to the floor. The legendary Doc Martin then strips things back and layers in some steamy female vocals to his remix and East End Dubz (Vinyl only) does his perfectly floor facing thing with dubbed out drums and slick hi hats keeping you dancing for days. Shaf Huse delivers his trademark peak time House sound that has been heavily supported from the likes of Martinz Brothers.

Future releases on Moxy Muzik will come from the likes of Phil Weeks, Tommy Vicari Jnr, Ray Mono, Christian Burkhardt, Ben Rau, Dense & Pika and of course Darius himself & will cover plenty of sound crossing both house & techno genre's but avoiding the generic obvious sounds that Darius feels is around too much at the moment.

As the Label is launched, Darius is doing a series of parties across the uk & abroad to coincide with the Launch of the label, 
these are ALL going to be all night long or 6 hour sets, and to be ONLY held in CLUBS. as well as starting a Monthly residency at Joshua Brooks in Manchester.
the purpose of this is to take ‘CLUBBING BACK TO CLUBS’ and at the same time, play long extended sets

Darius explains “ i have always said that being a true dj is playing LONG sets, and having a residency, so i want to take this opportunity to show this is what I’m about right now, of course its great to play the huge festivals, & those are great, but there doesn’t seem to be balance anymore, most shows seems to be big branded events in big spaces & short sets, small clubs are closing all over and i want to keep this culture alive, when i was younger i used to go to a club called the orbit near Leeds, i saw Jeff Mills there, i saw Sven Vath there, playing this small 500 capacity venue and it was magical, this is what i want to bring back”

Having agreed to play a 6hr set at Joshua Brooks Manchester in June, the event sold out in under 24 hours off the back of Darius tweeting a ticket link, before any artwork or even an event page was created, such was demand their was another date added the following week which also sold out
The atmosphere was electric & this led Darius to plan on a residency in 2019

Chief proudly welcomes a new face to the Chief Recordings family! Tomas Haro makes his debut with three original banging Tech House tracks. The EP is called Feel The Rhythm and contains the songs Funking, Generic and of course Feel The Rhythm.
The first track is a heavy stomper with sharp hats and some old-school synthesizer stabs.
Funking has a strong kick drum, pulsating sub-bassline and very cool stabs. Last but not least, Generic strongly finishes the release with a funky bassline.

Gel Abril - Entra

The next EP on Libero Records comes courtesy of label frontman Mike Morrisey. After spending a considerable amount of time in quiet working on the Libero sound. The young Mancunian producer delivers a staunch EP package in the form of ‘System’, containing five fresh originals that are sure to get the most stubborn of dancefloors moving.

Opening the show, ‘System’ focuses on being a living, breathing Libero embodiment. Oozing with low-end frequencies and subtle percussion spread throughout the mix, it's driven by perpetual rhythm and an elegant vocal topline. A heavy roller with contrasting breaks and heaps of class.

‘Phuture’ is a more uptempo affair, with a punchy personality and a loosely swung groove. Still retaining elements of the label's ethos, this peak-time number is full of racy energy and an insatiably catchy vocal hook, as well as another rumbling bassline that will leave you involuntarily bobbing your head.

Mike takes things a little deeper with ‘Vamos a Bailar’, adding hints of glitchy synths with deep/garage house flavours that are becoming more prominent of late. Combine that with some Latin flair, a bouncy low end and you’ve got yourself a seriously unique fusion that will no doubt turn a few heads.

‘Energizer’ is aptly named in terms of the amount of energy it has to offer. The track offers a thumping low-end, with some reggaeton attitude and an acid synth/bass combo that is guaranteed to have you moving. A standout track with an enjoyable level of rudeness that you will want more than one serving of.

Mike seals the deal with the magnificent ‘Am Dun’. A complete curveball in the package but one you will welcome with open arms instantly. Skippy beat, groovy bass, crisp hats and plenty of shake; that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The track has a trick up its sleeve in the form of a blissfully nostalgic vocal that fires you back to a time when UKG was rife, before pulling you into the present day and filling it with unique tech-house goodness.
