CFT&CM is a post punk outfit, formed in 2009 in Lisbon, Portugal. Comprised by Manuel Robim (vocals), Diogo Correia (electronics) and Miguel Pires (guitars). Manuel and Diogo met in 2006, at a sunnO))) concert (the first in their country) and became good friends ever since. Later, Diogo started his Graphic Design studies at the same school as Manuel, where they started some musical projects together, such as Skater Police and Como Se Vai Viver No Futuro (with visual artist Tiago Rodrigues), but only after some time working together they decided to start a serious band. Influenced by post punk (Wire, New Order), new wave (Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys), absorving contemporary pop music (Ed Banger Records, chillwave, 80's revival, etc.) and creating a mixture of sounds and creative forms which translates in their music, CFT&CM is the ideal soundtrack for the highway travelers, across the endless night. Bass heavy songs, with drums like metronomes and nostalgic synths, creating a swirling, deep as the sea, wall of sound. They later decided to invite Miguel to play guitars and add some new layers of sound to their elaborate songs. Currently, they are trying to find a label, promoting their music through the internet and giving concerts anywhere they can. With one EP and a few songs more already in their portfolio, they will be working on a new EP to be released in early 2011.


We are trying to explore the different landscapes that exist within electronic music and beyond through a serie of podcasts featuring exclusive collaborations with artists and music lovers.

The Department of Sound at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) is one of the few sound programs in the nation situated within the context of a fine arts school—an orientation that gives you the freedom to explore hybrid practices, such as hardware hacking, software development, and instrument building in addition to conceptual projects that consider sound outside of a musical context.

En 2014, Balades Sonores célébrait ses 10 ans. 
Une décennie passée à arpenter Paris et la France, des disques sous un bras et des flyers sous l’autre, carburant à la meilleure énergie que nos coeurs de mélomanes connaissent: la passion.

Depuis une poignée d’années, les choses se sont accélérées: La Fabrique Balades Sonores (soit la face immergée de l’iceberg, pour les vinyles et mille autres choses) a ouvert il y a trois ans et n'a cessé de s'agrandir depuis : de 20 m2 à son ouverture, la boutique s'étale depuis avril 2015 sur deux numéros et 80 m2 !

Mais l’ambition reste inchangée pour la bande d’activistes musicaux que nous sommes : notre longue-vue et notre carte sans repères fixes continuent de nous mener, via un itinéraire escarpé, dans un voyage où les artistes rencontrent leur public.

Nos outils ? Un disquaire éclectique et une galerie d’art(s) intimiste, mais aussi des stands itinérants, une sélection mensuelle de disques, un micro label pour coups de coeur, un site internet fourni, une agence de communication/street marketing attentive et de l’événementiel indie (showcases, concerts, dj sets et même un festival).
