Of Yesterday’ fuses dubby low-ends with euphoric pads and energetic builds, while the track is grounded by the bittersweet and heartfelt vocals which flow throughout the cut. Elevating piano melodies and chunky basslines add rich depth and complete an elivened dancefloor affair equally suited to Ibiza sunsets and festivals alike. 


“Of Yesterday showcases the emotional complexities of every relationship and focuses on the conflicting emotions one feels when seeing someone they once had a toxic relationship with. I can relate to this in a romantic way and platonic way. Most of us have people in our lives that make us feel many different ways when we see them. In this song specifically, the singer refuses to get sucked into that bad relationship again and refuses to live in the past. This is especially powerful to me and the song reminds me to live in the present and always move forward away from bad people and bad habits, not backward towards them.” - STARTFROMSKRATCH



STARTFROMSKRATCH has produced over 100 pieces of music with an exemplary ear for sound and production.
