Damae is an internationally known singer, performer, songwriter, DJ and presenter from Germany.

With five million copies sold worldwide and Multi Gold selling albums it’s no wonder Damae has been kept busy.

When hit producer Gottfried Engels (Tiger Records) asked her to be the singer for his project FRAGMA, it became the start of an incredible journey.

Their first common single was an international smash, reaching #4 in the UK charts, which is quite notable for a German singer. In the aftermath, albums, single releases, several video clips, and worldwide tours followed.

Having a #1, #3, and #4 in the UK charts sparked off the bands huge success.

Damae performed at some of the largest music events including „Party In The Park“ in the UK and „Northern Lights Festival“, and embarked on a worldwide tour stretching over Scandinavia, Brazil, Australia, Russia, USA and Europe, performing in prestigious venues across the world including Pacha & Space in Ibiza.

Parallel to Fragma Damae had her own Dance Music show on ONYX called Dance District where Damae would present and interview many huge stars in the industry. Guests included exclusive Star DJs like Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Mousse T and the list goes on. In addition Damae was a guest presenter of the show „Club Rotation“ at VIVA.

Frequently Damae surfaced with songs of her own or as a featured artist with other acts such as Schiller with the song „Lonely“ for the gold album „Sehnsucht“, which Damae wrote and performed, or „Velvet Morning“ with Kyau & Albert.

She also worked on Germany´s No #1 Dance-Label Tiger Records with different producers such as Dave Kurtis, Mauro Mondello, Mekki Martin, Lissat & Voltaxx, Luca Debonaire, and Saint Tropez Caps. Alongside all of this Damae writes for other artists currently signed with different labels.

Recently she was invited as an artist, topliner and songwriter for the Eurovision Song Writing Camp in the Netherlands and Andalusia. (The Eurovision Song Contest is the biggest music event in the world and reaches more than 250 Million viewers on TV.)

Whether in the studio, on stage, on television, during interviews or autograph sessions, Damae always gives her all in everything she does. Her fans feel her heartfelt dedication and love her for it. Due to her diligence, her fighting spirit, her flexibility, her versatility and her unrivaled desire to try out new things and to follow unusual paths combined with her positive attitude to life, she became a symbol of success and consistency for many female singers in the music industry.

Sänger, Songwriter, MC und DJ. Als Solo-Artist Sheik General oder unterwegs mit den Bands Sane Ground, Stone Steppas, Monster Riddim oder den Rootz Rockaz. Sein Stil ist Modern Roots, Dancehall aber auch Dub und Ragga kommen nicht zu kurz.

Für die Aufnahmen und Live-Auftritte gab es gemeinsame Arbeiten mit verschiedenen Artists, Studios, Bands und Soundsystems.  Features, Combinations mit anderen Artists  und Dubplate Produktionen für Studios und Produzenten rund um den Reggae Globus folgten bald.

Der Stil ist ein Mix aus Reggae, Dancehall und Hip Hop. Blues und Soul -Einflüsse sind deutlich zu hören und ein kleiner orientalischer Touch ist auch dabei. Der Gesang ist geprägt durch eine tiefe, warme Stimme und Texten die tief unter die Haut gehen oder einfach nur zur Party aufrufen.

In den vergangen 15 Jahren war genug Gelegenheit da um Erfahrungen zu sammeln und diese entsprechend in die Bühnenshow einfließen zu lassen. 

Erste Veröffentlichungen gab es bereits 2002 mit dem Studio Album Spacelab Sound und einer Veröffentlichung in Brasilien auf dem Reggae Sampler „Circuito Reggae“. Seitdem wurde, mit Pausen, ständig weiter produziert. Heraus kam ein breit gefächerter Stil der nun vermarktet wird.

2007 – 2013: Solo Artist bei der Neusser Reggae Band Sane Ground. Auftritte mit Papa Sbadi, Richie Pong, Big Daddy Dave, Shiwa Tunes, Culture Dan u.a.

2011 – 2013: Sänger bei der Rock-Reggae-Formation StoneSteppas.

2013 - 2014: Artist und MC bei Cologne Reggae Conexion

Seit 2014: Solo Artist mit eigener Band

As a singer/songwriter and eventually my own music producer, my objective is twofold: To have an immense amount of fun with what I do and create something unique and meaningful that makes you think and sit up  or just dream and smile. I have been guided by these objectives since I started my professional career as a trained dancer and model which has connected me to many beautiful people around the world who inspire me.

My lyrics are not that difficult to understand and I write about things that I love or things that I need to process. I produce most of my songs at home on a Laptop using the software Logic, a midi keyboard, an interface and a condenser microphone.
