Unser Sound und unsere Texte vertreiben euren Alltagsstress und legen den Fokus auf die wichtigsten Dinge für ein zufriedenes Leben: Ehrlichkeit, Liebe und Naturverbundenheit.

Unsere Philosophie gestaltet sich deshalb durch Lebens- und Spielfreude, gute Laune und Fröhlichkeit. Bei unseren Konzerten nehmen wir Euch mit auf die musikalische Reise nach CHILONYAH, um dort alle Sorgen zu vergessen und gemeinsam das Tanzbein zu schwingen.

The Reggae&Rock&Roll circus JAMARAM is ON THE ROAD again! Twelve years of JAMARAM with 7 LPs and over 1,000 live shows clocked up in Germany, Europe and the rest of the world – and no end in sight! The gig monsters of the south of Germany are hitting the road again with their new album »LA FAMILLE« (release 12th Octobre 2012 Soulfire Artists/Rough Trade) and looking forward to a wild escalation of clubbing with their fans.

Even with their seventh! album »LA FAMILLE« and interminable road trips behind them, it's hard to fit the close-knit circus family JAMARAM into any neat music genre. Branching out from the basic Reggae canon »LA FAMILLE« has Ska&Rocksteady (Lonely/Track 2, La Famille, Miniature Walrus, Babylon), Pop&Rock&Latino styles (Solid As A Rock/ Track 7, Turn On The Lights, Wasting Time, Slow), Singer/Songwriting (Hard To Hold On To/ Track 4, Plant Song, Hold On, Try Try Try) and naturally something ecstatic (Hey, Sweet Madelaine). For these 14 tracks, mostly recorded live, the band and their long-standing producer UMBERTO ECHO were aiming at an organic, earthy sound with minimal extra effects. All the songs should work one-to-one in concert without a safety net. The result is an astoundingly multifaceted long-player with new and undreamt of soundworlds from the JAMARAM Universe. As drummer Murxen Alberti puts it: “… some tracks on the new album are a bit softer at the corners than you'd expect for a Jamaram live show. We've left ourselves more time for nuances and still moments and out of that, Jamaram is developing a new force of its very own.

Nomen est Omen! The album title »LA FAMILLE« reflects the fact that after many years and numerous group experiences (highs and lows, the lows mostly from the subwoofers) you're more than just a bunch of flatmates who go on trips together and have fun. Family structures start to form: In ever-changing role-play, Mums and Dads try to keep the show on the road with all the means at their disposal. There are lethargic brothers and temperamental sisters to be handled, there are grumblers who have to be coerced into acting, there's Grandad who's not as resilient as he once was, and there's even a rich uncle. You find it in the best of families, you can somehow tell they're from the same stable and when the chips are down, they'll hold together through thick and thin.

Hinter "Beats aus Leidenschaft" verbirgt sich ein Beatproducer / Komponist aus der "Weltstadt mit Herz".

Die Releases des Producers finden vorwiegend im Hip Hop und Reggae statt. Es gibt neben verschiedenen Kollabos mit anderen Künstlern auch spannende Instrumentals. Der Style ist ein Mix aus klassischem Sampling und selbst eingespielten Instrumenten.

Schon als Teenager machte er sich auf, um die einzigartigen Vibes der Karibikinsel Jamaika aufzusaugen.
Er hat Jamaika und die Kultur mit großem Respekt aufgenommen und den direkten Draht zu den Menschen dort gesucht – genau das macht diesen Künstler aus. Nach über 1000 Konzerten rund um den Globus ist es immer diese verbindende Energie, die ihn als Künstler ausmacht – der direkte Draht zu den Menschen. Spätestens seit seiner Hitsingle „Intoxication“, die in der Karibik den Sommer 2004 musikalisch geprägt hatte, gehört er zur absoluten Top Riege der internationalen Reggae Gemeinschaft und Festivallandschaft.
In über 25 Jahren entstanden dabei über 100 Kollaborationen mit Top Stars wie: Shaggy, Sean Paul, Marcia Griffiths, Tanya Stephens, Ky-Mani Marley, Christopher Martin, um nur einige Jamaikaner aufzuzählen. Auch in den USA hat Gentleman mit einigen Stars zusammengearbeitet: Aloe Blacc, Pink, Destiny´s Child, SOJA, Michael Franti uvam.
Selbst in unseren Breitengraden ist die Liste lang und bekannt: Freundeskreis, Udo Lindenberg, Die Toten Hosen, Michael Patrick Kelly, Beginner uvam.
Gentleman veröffentlichte über 12 Alben mit 4 Gold- und einer Platinauszeichnung. Darunter mittlerweile Genre-Klassiker wie „Journey to Jah“, „Confidence“ oder das großartige „MTV Unplugged“. 
Zusammenfassend kann man dem Reggae Connaisseur und Autor Ulli Güldner nur zustimmen, in dem er Gentleman als „bis heute ersten & einzigen Reggae-A-List-Ambassador dieses Landes“ tituliert.
