Cajarana is André Sousa’s latest musical moniker. The project spawned from GRUB, a dark prog collaboration with Fernando Rodrigues (Psyjar) that released on Maia Brasil Records, Glitchy Tonic Records and Zenon Records.

Now, the native Portuguese producer/dj is flying solo with immersive psy techno that borders on the trancy. Cajarana tells a story that originates from the belly of the beast, where psychedelic flavours and growling sounds overlap.

These rough and tough, fast-paced, unapologetic stomping beats are not for the faint hearted. Fasten your seatbelts – it’s going to be a bumpy ride!

Techgnosis Sessions 045 - TOLEE [DE]

Synaptic is an artist hailing from Assam, India whose music is highly influenced by house and techno. Although minimal techno forms his core nucleus, his sounds revolve around various genres like electronica, psytrance, and techno peak-time which encourages him to experiment with his sounds of other genres and build a DJ or hybrid set in an authentic way that defines his style of play.

His sound is focused on driving and psychedelic techno. However, his mixes include a full spectrum of techno genres from minimal/deep tech and hypnotic techno to psychedelic techno with lots of hypnotic synth stabs and high-energy drum patterns which induce the feeling of hypnotism that lets the music control the dancefloor.

☢☢☢ Monococ ☢☢☢  

Back in 1993 Wolfgang Kaiser a.k.a. Monococ started his career as a producer. He bought himself a Korg 01/W and after a short time he dis- covered the world of electronic music and started to get deeper and deeper in to the music. 

His first releases were more Trance Music in the early nineties (1996). At the time he named himself “Emperor”. 

After many more releases he found out that Techno music is his real passion and in 2012 he started producing Techno, Minimal and Tech-House music under his new name “Monococ”. 

As a deejay his career includes events in many clubs including appearances at the legendary Disco Airport in Frankfurt the “Dorian Grey”. 

He also played together with legends like Paul van Dyk. The latest step was the partnership with Ben Champell, Patrick Hero and other artists since july 2014. 

Since then he had releases on labels like PP Music or Undercool Productions. 

In 2015 he released a lot of good Tracks on Phunk Traxx, they found access into the playlist from Richie Hawtin and UMEK. In March of 2016 he makes the next step in his career with his “Elements” Ep released on Moonplay Records with a Remix from JSPR – an artist at Minus Records.

Xenia Liloo started her music career in 2008 in Goa, well known as a party coast in India, soon after she was hosting parties and spinning around as a dj from Arambol to Anjuna. 

She played at hundreds of parties in the most famous and happening spots like Hill Top,9Bar, Marbela, Nyex, Chronicle, Shorebar, SkyClub, Liquid Sky, SeaHorse, WestEnd, Waters, Katzensuppe, Lilliput, RockWaters, Antares, W, Pinakin, Curlies.

Her sound focused on the underground techno vibes, from minimal,deep and hypnotic techno to industrial, with lots of hypnotic synth stabs, galloping percussion rolls and high energy drum patterns which induce the feeling of hypnotism with a rock-solid groove.

It opens with a heady half-time trek through deepest space, moves into fractalized downtempo territory, and then picks up the pace with uptempo arpeggiated bassline burners.
