News and headlines follow each other at breathtaking speed. What was considered truth yesterday is already forgotten today. In the incessant stream of information, images, and opinions, the essentials are lost. The loud drowns out the quiet, and the voices that seek depth and prudence threaten to disappear. With my song “Wo die Stille wohnt” (Where Silence Lives), which I wrote today, I want to counter this noise with a contrasting image. I think it is important to lay down the weapons of endless strife and search for the nuances—beyond black and white, beyond simple answers. In silence, in mindfulness for one another, I see the possibility of finding a new path. There I hear a soft voice that remains despite all the harshness of this world: the voice of compassion.
When we withdraw and leave responsibility to others, coldness grows in the world. But I have hope: even an outstretched hand, an act of community, can counterbalance division and mistrust. Hope may be small, but it lives on—in each of us who listens, who does not look away, who puts what we have in common above what divides us.
“Where Silence Lives” is also an appeal to preserve space for humanity amid the noise of our times. Peace does not arise in the headlines, but in the quiet courage to reach out and take another's hand.
It is not struggle and confrontation that lead us forward, but listening, compassion, and the search for nuance.

• Responsibility begins in small ways—with every person who does not look away, but is willing to reach out to someone else.

Nachrichten und Schlagzeilen lösen sich in atemberaubender Geschwindigkeit ab. Was gestern noch als Wahrheit galt, ist heute bereits vergessen. Im unablässigen Strom von Informationen, Bildern und Meinungen verliert sich das Wesentliche. Das Laute übertönt das Leise, und die Stimmen, die nach Tiefe und Besonnenheit suchen, drohen zu verschwinden. Mit meinem Lied „Wo die Stille wohnt“, das ich heute geschrieben habe, möchte ich diesem Lärm ein Gegenbild entgegen. Ich fände es wichtig, die Waffen des endlosen Streits niederzulegen und nach den Zwischentönen zu suchen – jenseits von Schwarz und Weiß, jenseits von einfachen Antworten. In der Stille, in der Achtsamkeit füreinander, sehe ich die Möglichkeit, einen neuen Weg zu finden. Dort höre ich eine leise Stimme klingen, die trotz aller Härte dieser Welt bestehen bleibt: die Stimme des Mitgefühls.

Wenn wir uns zurückziehen und die Verantwortung anderen überlassen, wächst die Kälte in der Welt. Doch ich habe Hoffnung: Schon eine ausgestreckte Hand, ein Akt der Gemeinschaft, kann ein Gegengewicht sein gegen Spaltung und Misstrauen. Hoffnung mag vielleicht klein sein, aber sie lebt – in jedem von uns, der zuhört, der nicht wegsieht, der das Gemeinsame über das Trennende stellt.
„Wo die Stille wohnt“ ist zugleich ein Appell, im Lärm unserer Zeit den Raum für Menschlichkeit zu bewahren. Frieden entsteht nicht in den Schlagzeilen, sondern im stillen Mut, die Hand des anderen zu ergreifen.
Nicht Kampf und Gegeneinander führen weiter, sondern Zuhören, Mitgefühl und Suche nach Nuancen.
•	Stille ist nicht Leere, sondern ein Ort, an dem man Klarheit, Frieden und die leise Stimme der Menschlichkeit wiederfinden kann.
•	Verantwortung beginnt im Kleinen – mit jedem Menschen, der nicht wegschaut, sondern bereit ist, jemandem die Hand zu reichen.
