Remixes, Remasters, and the Like

A very unfinished playlist based on me and my friend Sunset's idea for a Sonic CD inspired theme park. This park would have had remixes of iconic Sonic CD songs for the rides, queues and the general area. Unfortunately I grew very disinterested in working on this very fast, as there was no foundation for it to become an actual park project via media like Planet Coaster.

This is an Act 2 remix of Desert Palace from Sonic 3. Could you imagine if Sonic 3's competition stages were full-scale levels? This would probably be the result.

Desert Palace makes a mysterious turn as this arrangement is supposed to lean more into the "palace" part. During late-afternoon hours, Sonic & Tails make their way through an oasis of sorts before entering a cold, dark, and grainy palace. This palace is home to tricky sands traps and falling debris everywhere, but isn't anywhere near as hard to navigate as Sandopolis.

Secrets Of Tidal Tempest - Queue Music #1 [Past]

I started working on this in February, this would be the theme that would play around the Palmtree Panic Botanical Gardens as you would walk around, taking in the sights and smells of the garden. Unfortunately I grew out of working on this one too quick as it didn't go quite the way I wanted, but I liked the initial direction and idea I had.

The Court Mage

I finally finished it, so I'm posting it here so it can go in the playlist!

Back in January I spent about 2 days working on a remix of Tidal Tempest to go with the ride concept my friend Sunset came up called 'Secrets of Tidal Tempest' which was basically a log flume meets educational ride about the ecosystems of Tidal Tempest and its history of how it became what it would be in the Good Future. I revisited it a few months afterwards to make some tweaks to it, because I felt like it, but only finally finished it yesterday.

This was also the first thing I used my Roland U-220 for with my proper setup for recording it; weird to think that I only had one hardware synth back then, now I have 9, 6 racks 3 keyboards lol
