I am Hashim Mills from Brownsville, Brooklyn. One half of Shalo H.a.L. I currently reside on Planet Earth and believe that I am in the process of creating a body of work that will stand the test of time. I am a founding member of the internationally known duo/band Rise and Shine and have recorded and performed alongside some great musicians and artist. Artist such as DJ Premier, Jay-Z, Kurupt, Kanye West, DJ Khalil, Mos Def, Les Nubians, Kool G Rap, Black Eyed Peas, Erykah Badu, Common, Souls of Mischief, Orko, Levelz, Sonnie Carson and more.
