I have been playing or singing off and on for most of my life. My earliest musical memories are of being passed from lap to lap in the choir loft of the church I grew up in during rehearsal. I believe that is where my love of singing started and it helped me to learn harmony at a very early age. My other early influences were Dave Brubeck, a lot of classical composers, the Mills Brothers, Harry Belafonte, early Joan Baez, of course the Beatles, Stones and listening to my father's old Jazz records.

I have worked in media since 1980 - as a radio and TV host, co host, program director, production director, writer/producer, national spokes person and co-owner. Recently I owned an Italian Del, Produced a move, and spent a year as "The Brooklyn Buckaroo".... I also ran the creative for a media company. I have been a marketing, broadcast, branding and political consultant. Now days I'm in business for myself (Manno Media) where I eke out a marginal living do voice acting and audio and video production. Send me a script and I'll audition for you! Just another guitar player who has had several musical incarnations: from honky tonk country to jazz to silent film scores.  My current performing incarnation involves old blues.  

I also teach guitar & ukulele, with emphasis on fingerstyle playing & blues--on the guitar...but if you want to play blues uke, I can teach that too!
